Chapter 27:

(3rd Person POV)

Sammy gasped for air. Skylar looked at Christophe and Sammy with wide eyes.

"Sky baby, he kissed me! He forced himself on me!"

"Oh my god!" Skylar said as the others walked behind him. "This guy assaulted Sammy." Lynol grabbed Christophe by his collar and lifted his fist up-

"Stop!" Sammy screamed. "Don't hurt him!"

"What're you talking about? He hurt you!" Skylar shouted ready to assist Lynol with beating the crap out of Christophe.

"If you guys punch him, he'll hurt you 100 times more. He's in a gang. I've seen them in action. You don't want to be their next target." Lynol eyed Christophe and then pushed him away from him.

Christophe dusted himself off and stood up. "Wise choice boys."

The door opened.

"Sam!" Mia ran towards the bedside and hugged her tightly like she never wanted to let go.

"Are you ok? Mimi, there's some bruises on you...again." She whispered.

"We'll talk about it later. You're the most important person in here right now, so enough about me. How are you?"

"Well, I was fine up until I find out the hospital has been faxed the DNA results for the twins. The doctor will be bringing it in shortly."

"Oh my god." She held Sammy's hand. "It's going to be ok. Whoever's the father won't change anything. I promise."

"I hope you're right."

"Um...excuse me guys. Yesterday on Sammy's birthday-"

"Oh crap that's right. Please tell me you loved my present!" K screamed, interjecting Skylar.

"Yo K, cool it down." Trevor said.

"Sammy doesn't need screaming in her ears while she's sitting in a hospital bed." Dylan grinned.
