POV Jack

"You should really eat," I said as I handed Elsa a chocolate bar. She shook her head and I see her embracing herself. We've been in the waiting room for four hours now. I see how she closes her eyes and squeezes her arms. I sat next to her and I pull her to lean on my shoulder.

"Who would hurt her like that," Elsa said quietly and squeezed my arm.

"Anna is really stubborn sometimes. I mean she was even beating me up. No bullet will keep her away from you," I whispered and I kissed her forehead.

"Thank you," Elsa said sadly and started sobbing. Kristoff was sitting on another seat, staring at his hands and staying quiet.

I entwined my fingers with Elsa's. She was devastated when Kristoff called her about Anna. Anna had been staying at her shop to close the place up and someone shot her at nearby alley. The shooter got away and now she's at the surgery.

It's almost 11pm and suddenly the twin doors open. A doctor walks in while pulling his surgery mask away from his face. My heart paused for a moment as I tried to read from him what had happened.

I stood up with Elsa, she took some support from me. Kristoff came to us.

"Ms. Arendelle and Mr. Björkmann," the doctor started but Elsa took my hand.

"Mrs Overland," Elsa corrected and I lifted my eyebrow as I glanced at her.

"Mrs Overland, your sister is now in waking up room. Her injuries were severe but now she's stable. You can see her tomorrow," the doctor smiled.

The sound that Elsa made, it was a mix of laughing and sobbing. She looked at me and gave me a hug while laughing. I rubbed her back. "Told you that she's stubborn," I whispered to Elsa's ear.

"Mmhm.." Elsa mumbled and then I felt her arms letting go.

"T-thank you," Elsa stuttered to the doctor as she turned to face him again.

"I'm glad that I was able to help--," the doctor started but then gasped. I narrowed my eyebrows and then I looked at Elsa. My eyes widened as I saw Elsa looking dizzy. Then it happened, she lost her balance and she started falling.

"Elsa!" I said as I tried to grab her. I was too late as well as the doctor when our heads bumped against each other. Elsa fainted and fell to floor.

"Els, wake up," I said as soon as I got on my knees to the floor. The doctor placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Mr. Overland, we can check on your wife. She just needs some rest, she's been worrying a lot," the doctor smiled and I slowly nodded my response.

Some nurses came and took Elsa to some tests and into a room.

Kristoff patted my back, "I'm sure that she's fine soon." He smiled and sounded relieved.

"Yeah. You should go and wait that Anna wakes up," I smiled to Kristoff as I started walking after the nurses that took Elsa.

"Jackson," Kristoff said aloud.

"Yup?"

"Since when you've been my brother-in-law? What did I miss?" He sounded curious and I started coughing.

"Anna knew, didn't she?" Kristoff sighed and I nodded my head while blushing.

"Well. Glad that it was you," Kristoff said and then went to follow the doctor to where they kept Anna.

When I got into Elsa's room the nurses had finished their tests. Elsa was laying on the bed and slowly started to sit as I got into room.

"Well?" I asked as I sat on a chair.
