POV Elsa
This morning Anna didn't go to work like she did on other days. We were eating our breakfast in silence or at least we tried. "Time to go?" Anna whispered and I looked at the clock. "We can go anytime, Anna," I smiled faintly and she nodded.
It was the day when our parents were taken away from our lives. One of the reasons why Anna decided to live in Burgess was the fact that the memorial mark was placed in here. After we reached the place Anna took a hold of my hand.
In silence we walked to see the high and wide memorial mark. It's grey marble surface was smooth and cool, shining in the morning sun. Anna touched our parents name which were written in gold letters.
"In the Honoring Memory of those Who didn't survive," Anna read the text written in the upper part. "March 10th 2009," I whispered and hugged Anna. It has been five years already, since the plane crashed. I place down a bouquet of flowers and we rise up. Other people are also coming to show their respects to their lost family members.
As always, we went to sit on a bench nearby. We used to watch how different looking people came here, we imagined how those people looked like. The people who were on the plane with mum and dad, we wondered if the mourning people were parents to the people on the plane or their children. Newer we talked to anyone.
"I will get us something hot to drink," I whispered to Anna while I left to get us some hot chocolate. Anna just stared at the people who came to visit. I look at the clock and we would stay for 30 minutes still like always. This time we got here early, normally we come in the evening but the weather broadcast told that the morning would be a bit chilly. Chilly mornings mean beautiful sunrises and good weather so we wanted to see the beauty of the morning while we visit the memorial mark.
POV Hiccup
Jack is kneeling in front of the memorial mark, he had just described it to Emma like he does every year. "Hiccup," Emma whispered."Yup?" I said to her and then I glanced at Jack. "You could take me back to car. Let's give Jack some time alone," Emma sighed and I took a hold from her wheelchairs handles. I took her back to van and I glance over my shoulder.
I see how Jack buries his face on his hands. Losing his parents was hard for him as well as Emma being hurt in the accident. Only the people who were near the exits managed to get out. Otherwise the whole plane was destroyed and burned, hardly any trace was left from the people inside. Emma was near the exit, she got out but it cost her sight and moving ability down from her waist.
"Will he be alright?" Emma asked from me when I pushed her inside from van's back door. "He will, he always manages to be alright," I said while smiling even though I felt bad for them. "You're lying," Emma said with sorrow on her voice. I sighed, "Well.. Emma, I don't know." Emma knew me too well since I have been friends with Jack from childhood. "I wish that it wouldn't be his birthday also," Emma sobbed and I gave her a hug.
POV Elsa
"Thank you!" I said to cafeteria lady and went outside. I crossed a busy street and walked towards the park area where the memorial mark is. I see Anna sitting on the bench and I hand her the steaming hot chocolate cup. "Here," I tell her and she gives me a faint smile.
I turn around and when I am just about to sit I gasp, my cup fells to ground and hot chocolate flies everywhere. "Elsa! What are you doing!" Anna exhaled and stared at me. I stared at someone, he was there.
Anna glares at me and then she looks at the direction where I am staring with my mouth open. I was in a half sitting position. "Oh," Anna gave me a remarkable hum. "Huh?" I look at Anna and I wipe a lose hair strand away from my forehead.
