IT happened that time when I and Karl with Mr. Estrada of course, visited a friend of ours who sprained his ankles because of an accident that happened at their home.
Pagkarating namin sa Hospital ay lumapit kami sa Front Desk at tinanong kung saan ang kwarto ni Mr. Castro. "Nasa Room 408 po ang kwarto ni Mr. Castro." Sabi ng Nurse sa Front Desk ng Hospital.
"Maraming salamat po Ma'am." Karl said, smiling. Mr. Estrada and I also thanked the Nurse and went on ahead to Room 408 where our friend is currently resting at the moment.
We entered the elevator and Mr. Estrada Pressed Number 4 for the Elevator to go up to the 4th Floor of the Hospital. The Elevator stopped at the 4th Floor of the Hospital and we then walked out of the Elevator.
We walked through the hallway and stopped at the room with 408 and M. Castro labeled outside the room, we knocked on the door and the Castro Family's Head Security opened the door to welcome us inside.
"Good afternoon Tita and Tito, kamusta na po ang lagay niya?" Tanong ko at ni Karl sa mga magulang ng kaibigan naming nakahiga pa rin dito at nagpapahinga.
"Maayos naman ang lagay ng paa niya, pero hindi lang kasi nasprain ang ankle nitong si Mark. Biglaan din daw siyang hinimatay matapos niyang masprain yung Paa niya. Kaya ngayon nagpapahinga pa din siya." Sabi ni Tita Jessica na kitang kita ang pagaalala sa mukha niya.
"Ganun po ba Tita? Kung ganun po, maghihintay na lang po kami dito sa Hospital kung sakaling gumising na po si Mark mamaya or kahit anong oras po siya gigising, maghihintay po kami." Sabi ni Karl kay Tita Jessica.
"Maraming Salamat Mendez at Lopez, wag kayong magaalala at tatawagan namin kayo kaagad sakaling magising si Mark mamaya." Sabi ni Tito Charles sa amin ni Karl.
Tuluyan na kaming nagpaalam at lumabas na muna kami ng Kwarto ni Mark at maglilibot libot na muna kami sa Hospital.
Pero bago kami naglibot libot ay nanood muna kami ng palabas sa TV na nasa Lobby ng Hospital sa 4th Floor.
At talagang malalaman mong paborito namin ang palabas na yun dahil kumikinang kinang pa ang mga mata naming dalawa ni Karl nung mga panahong iyon habang pinapanood ang palabas.
After the show was over, we then continued to initiate our original plan other than visiting Mark who sprained his ankle and was said to have loss consciousness when they found him lying on the floor.
"May tanong lang ako sayo, Karl." I said. "Go ahead, ask away." He said. "Sa buong buhay mo, may mga bagay ka bang nalaman habang patagal ng patagal yung buhay mo?" Tanong ko.
