KARL
After thinking for a while, I went back to our classroom and finished the classes for today. And as I promised Ms. Lorraine Kim, I will be sending her home first before our family driver drives me home. I waited for her outside of our room and when she came out we walked down the stairs, and of course there were spectators yelling "Ayiee!" Again and again, but I wasn't bothered since I promised this to her. I don't like breaking promises after all.
After arriving at the Ground Floor, I waved goodbye to our School Guards and thanked them for helping us with our exhausted friends back in the under construction building. I will never be careless anymore, not again like that day. Never. As we arrived in the main gate, we noticed it was raining hard, she didn't have any umbrella with her, so I lend her mine and I walked in the rain.
"Sure ka dito Karl?" She asked. I was shocked when she called me Karl, because she always calls me by "AFCS President Karl Mendez" or "President of AFCS Karl Mendez" so I was shocked. "Why do you look shocked?" She asked. "It's just that, it's your first time calling me by my name so I was kinda shock." I said. "Pero oo naman, dun lang naman nasa kabilang side lang naman ng kalsada na to si Mr. Estrada eh."
"Oh, okay thank you!" She said smiling. After crossing the road, Mr. Estrada greeted us with a smile inside our car. I opened the Door for Ms. Lorraine Kim, after she got in the backseat, I placed my jacket and bag in the front seat and sat in the back seat. "Good Afternoon, Mr. Mendez uuwi po ba tayo kasama ng Kaibigan niyo?" He asked looking at Ms. Lorraine Kim seating beside me.
"No Mr. Estrada, we'll make sure she's safe home before we go home. Everyday." I said. "Hello po, ako po si Lorraine Kim! Nice to meet you po Mr. Estrada!" She politely greeted him, smiling. "Nice to meet you as well, Ms. Lorraine Kim!" He said smiling.
"This is rare para sayo Mr. Mendez, ihahatid mo pa talaga pauwi araw araw yung unang babaeng nakasakay dito sa sasakyan niyo maliban sa Mother mo at Bunso niyo." Mr. Estrada said. "It's normal, Mr. Estrada and please stop revealing na siya yung unang babaeng nakasakay dito sa sasakyan except my Mother and Sister, you're embarassing me." I said blushing.
Well, it's really embarassing you know? She might get the wrong Idea, but I know her so she won't get the wrong Idea. After a moment of silence Ms. Lorraine Kim broke the silence.
"Karl, may I ask kung bakit mo ako sinama sa Investigation Unit niyo?" She asked. "I told you already, kaya ko nagawa at napagdesisyonang isama ka sa Investigation Unit namin, para di ka nila madaling maaatake especially kung kasama mo ako. Ayoko lang na maging pabaya ulit. Your lives were in danger if it were not for my carelessness, kaya naman ayokong mawala ka sa paningin ko dahil baka atakihin ka na naman ng mga yun." I said. "Ohh, I see thank you for having me!" She said smiling.
