TODAY is the day of Christmas.
I never thought that I would actually get some screen time, Hahaha. Jokes aside, The day before today we went to meet up in Lorraine Kim's House. On that day we talked about our plans for today since it's Christmas Day.
And James and Pau suggested that we should do the traditional exchange gifts, but only one letter or two letters should be written in the sender's name.
For your understanding let's move back to yesterday.
"So, bakit nga ba tayo nagkita kita dito ngayon?" Tanong ko. "Alam niyong pasko bukas hindi ba?" Tanong ni Karl. "Oo, pero anong konek ng Pasko sa pagkikita natin dito ngayon?" Tanong ni James. Tama nga naman ang sinabi ni James, wala namang koneksyon ang Pasko sa pagkikita namin dito.
"Since we're a club and we're all friends, I thought na baka pwede tayong magkaroon ng Christmas Party! And siyempre pag may Party, may exchange gifts!" Karl said, smiling.
"You could've just told us about it sa Group Chat natin, maybe there's something else? Or something like a twist?" I asked.
"Sharp as always, I see. Yes, you're right there is a twist! You only have today to buy the gifts after nating magbunutan and kung sino ang mabubunot niyo maglalagay lang kayo ng 1-2 Letters Initials niyo sa sender's name! Kumbaga parang Secret Santa! Now, let us begin!" He exclaimed in happiness.
Matapos naming ihalo halo ang laman ng box ay isa isa kaming kumuha ng kapirasong papel. Ang nakuha ko ay si Kate Castro. No, she's not a relative of mine. Castro is not a rare surname, a lot of people have Castro as their surname, you know.
And back to the problem at hand, I don't even know what gift she wants to receive, we're not that close kaya naman hindi ko talaga alam kung ano bang masamang ginawa ko at nabunot ko ang taong di ko naman ganon kakilala.
Matapos ang matagalang pagiisip ay pumasok na sa isip ko ang pinakamagandang plano para malaman kung anong gusto niya ng hindi niya ako napaghahalataan.
Magmumukha man akong tanga sa gagawin ko, atleast makakakuha ako ng impormasyon sa gustong mga bagay ni Kate Castro, mas okay na to kesa naman mapahiya ng walang nairegalo, hindi ba.
Makalipas ang isang oras ay inaya ko si Rafael at Camille na pumunta sa isang Café para magusap usap lang naman, dahil parte yun ng plano ko.
Unang una sa lahat, matalik na kaibigan talaga ni Camille si Kate, kaya naman ito na ang tiyansa para malaman ko kung anong mga bagay ang gustong matanggap ng kaibigan niya sa Pasko.
