Chapter 01:Unexpected Love & Happening

Small Introduction: I am Karl Mendez, A Student at Ramaca University. I have a sharp memory, which can remember the smallest of smallest details. Age 17, studying at the Prestigious Ramaca University. That's all for my introduction. I hope you like this story.

"Introduction to Ramaca University"

Ramaca University is a prestigious university teaching only those with great perseverance, this is also a place where love and relationships start to blossom, however, contradictory to that, this university is also hiding a lot of secrets from its students, only the wisest will ever find out about it. No one will be able to hold their breath until all of its mysteries have been solved. Karl Mendez, one of the most intelligent students at this University, will he be able to solve these mysteries, or will they forever stay as one? Join them as they do, as we start off this story and journey, with Karl Mendez.

It was examination week once again, our exams start at 8:00 AM, I always come early despite the time of our exams. I always come early because I want to have even more time to review my lessons. All the exams in Ramaca University are all hard, but if you get the hang of it. It's actually pretty easy to pass. No lies can ever bypass my sharp instincts.

The school also has teachers with sharp eyes. So, if you try to cheat, you will obviously regret it. Our math teacher especially has a really sharp eye, and the way she teaches us makes it easier to understand the lesson. That's why I always pass her exams.

Before the exams, I noticed that my friend Rafael is shy when it comes to our friend Camille. "Gusto mo ba si Camille?" I asked. "H-Hindi no" he said. When he stated an obvious lie, I instantly noticed it.

I messaged my friends in our group chat called "AFCS" I was the one who made that group, at first it was only me, my friend James, and my friend Mark. Eventually, after the exams we decided to add our friend Rafael.

When he was added by Mark, I asked him if he likes Camille and insisted to tell us because he can rest assure that we are trustworthy. "Okay, Inaamin ko na may gusto ako sa kanya pero secret lang natin yun ah" he said. I assured him that we won't tell anyone, and we kept our word.

Eventually we added another friend of us in AFCS, his name is Eugene, when we told him about the secret of Rafael, he assured us that he wouldn't tell anyone because that's what's friends should do, to keep things that was said a secret. 

Eventually, Rafael confronted us as to why our whole section knows about it. Me, James, Mark and Eugene shouted in unison. "Masyado kang obvious!" Then there it is, his actions are too obvious that even a 1st Grader can notice that he likes Camille! I mean how could he not notice how stupidly obvious he is? Is he really that clueless, or he's just feigning ignorance? 

Camille on the other hand, didn't show any signs of "kilig" there are only two possibilities. First, she really doesn't like Rafael and is not interested in him even at the slightest. Second, she really likes him, but she doesn't show nor express it. A lot of people are like that after all, not that I would've known!

There are times when Rafael thought of giving up on Camille, at first, we told him to never give up, but even then, he still keeps on thinking about giving up on her and after a while, we made him decide on his own, not because we're tired of him but because as good friends we shouldn't pressure nor force them to never give up, love formed because of peer pressure is not love, so we decided to both let them decide on their own.

Pressuring one another is a bad thing, we should let them decide for their own. If they want to give up, it's their choice. What we can do for them is to support whatever decision they make and that's what makes a good friend! It's time for our Christmas Party now at our school. I don't really like to go to those kinds of stuffs, however since my friends were there, I had no choice but to come and join them. 

That's why in the Christmas Party we enjoyed ourselves to the max, well at the very least they did, I don't want to be here but at the same time I don't want to be left alone, so I tried to enjoy, but failed in doing so, nonetheless. Soon after, our food came and some of us picked it up outside as it was a little bit heavy. They even brought the boxes of food for other sections that didn't know that the food had already arrived. 

Before eating, we played lots of games, such as "hep hep hooray" but of course I didn't win because I suck at those kinds of games, although I excel at other games hahahaha, after the games we ate our foods and enjoyed ourselves.

After eating our food, we started exchanging gifts, that was the part that we've─I mean they've been waiting for because I didn't really like exchanging gifts as I already know that the gift for me wasn't really mine. It was actually for my cousin, I don't want to bother myself and go through all that hassle, so I just wrote down something as a gift for my cousin in my wishlist. 

Well, no one really cares because I know you've been wanting to hear their stories not mine Hahahahaha, now here's the main event of the Christmas Party. "Rafael, Camille picture kayo dali na, you promised me na pagbibigyan niyo ako kaya dali na while the others have already left the classroom" I persistently said.

But soon after, the echoing voices of these annoying bunch (I'm just joking) could be heard all across the hallway screaming "Ayieeeee!!! Nice Rafael. Camille pala Rafael ah." Technically, that's not my fault, I didn't even know they were in the building's hallway and saw the magical moment between the two, well it was indeed a magical moment between the two of them.

No one would actually believe this happened, so I'm very thankful for all the people who saw it from the outside. I thought I'd be alone, being a camera man, well after all a magical/historical Moment needs witnesses, don't they? So, this is just the perfect time for a perfect moment, this was a fun, fun day. I really hope that this fun day has more to come, than just this.

Something more shocking, like after that day they were already a couple. But not thanks to me, it's our friend's persistency that made her fall for him.

But days after that, we received shocking/tragic news. I don't want to say it, as it was too tragic. And that was probably the worst news we'll ever get before Christmas and New Year.
