We finally arrived in Camp John Hay, where we will be doing Picnic as our First Activity. I don't really know anything about Picnics so I'll just let my friends tell me what I can do to help them.
"President Mendez para makatulong ka samin, pwede bang ikaw ang maglatag ng kumot natin sa damuhan doon banda? Salamat!" Pauleen said smiling pointing at the direction near the trees.
Sumunod ako agad sa sinabi niya dahil wala naman din akong ibang ginawa para tulungan sila, kung meron man etong pinapagawa na niya ang matutulong ko.
Sa hindi kalayuan, nakita ko si Inspector Concepcion. Siguro para mas mahigpit ang pagbabantay at pagsisiguro na walang masamang mangyayari sa tatlong araw na nandito kami sa Camp John Hay.
"James, pupuntahan ko lang si Inspector Concepcion saglit ah, ibibigay ko lang yung ipinabibigay ni Inspector Rye." Paalam ko bago ako tuluyang nagtungo sa kinaroroonan ni Inspector Concepcion.
"Inspector!" Sigaw ko dahilan para mapatingin siya sa akin. "Oh, ikaw pala Karl Mendez, bakit mo ako tinawag? May nangyari ba?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Inspector Concepcion.
"Wala naman pong nangyaring masama Inspector, at sana wala talaga. Anyways, nung pumunta kami sa Pampanga para tulungan ang kaibigan naming magimbestiga ay nakita ko ang kambal mo." I said.
"Oh? Pano mo nalamang kambal ko siya?" Tanong ni Inspector Concepcion. "Sinabi niya po sakin Inspector." I said.
"Is that so? I see. So, hindi ka naman siguro lumapit dito para lang makipagkamustahan hindi ba?" He said. "Sharp as always, Inspector." I smirked.
"Ipinabibigay po ito ng Kambal mo, Inspector." I said, rummaging through my bag of "necessities". "Here!" I said handing the letter to Inspector Concepcion. "He also told me to tell you na namimiss ka na ng Mom niyo, so come home more often." I said.
"Thank you for doing this, Karl Mendez. I appreciate it." He said, smiling. "Babalik na po ako sa pwesto namin, Inspector. Hanggang sa muli" I said, smiling to which he nodded back.
"Pasensya na kung medyo napatagal. Teka? Tapos na kayo kaagad? Ganon pala kabilis ang magayos ng picnic table." I said, laughing. What can I do? Wala naman akong alam sa mga bagay bagay about sa Camping nor Picnic, so if ayan ang usapan labas ako diyan.
Natawa silang lahat dahil sa sinabi ko. Tumigil kaming magtawanan ng magsalita ang Principal namin.
"A wonderful afternoon to everyone. I am your Principal Ms. Isabella Santos, I hope everyone will have a wonderful day today in our very first camping trip. Let's enjoy this trip to our heart's content! That's all thank you." She said, smiling.
