Anyways back to our story
Y/n pov Miles room 5:12 pm
"Are you ok with this whole situation?" I asked Miles
"Of course. There's nothing wrong with it. Just surprised me" he explained
"What are we gonna do about Quint?" I asked bluntly
"I don't know. I don't think we can do you anything" he explained
I looked down, all the stress has been getting to me
"Hey it's ok. Just stay with me and he can't do anything. I'll keep you safe" he said lifting up my chin to look at him
"I'm not gonna let anything happen" he said trying to reassure me.
"Research time I guess." I said going to houses large library to see if anything's there that could be on getting bad juju out. (Juju is energy ✨)
We walked to the library then going our separate ways to look around to see if there's anything on it.
Miles POV Library Bold is Quint
He won't stop. He won't stop talking to me. Telling me I'm making a mistake.
"Miles you foolish kid, I'm not going anywhere"
"We were friends why are you trying to get rid of me"
"You're just gonna hurt her"
"I'll make sure of that!"
"Shut up" I whisper so y/n can't hear me
"You can't get rid of me"
"Kill her"
"I'm your only friend"
"And you know it!"
"Shut up" I finally scream pulling at my hair
"Miles are you ok?" Y/n asked worried
"Yeah I'm ok. Just that buzzing noise is annoying." I told her a small lie. Ok it's not small but I can't tell her it's him yet
"Ok?" She then walked off to look again
Y/n POV
Miles is lying to me. I know his poker face. I think it's Quint because I remember Miles telling me that he talks to him a lot, I know it sounds crazy, but there was no buzzing sound.
I just let it go until I find something
Nothing. I can't find anything
"Mi I can't find anything" I told him worried
"I can't either. I remember my mom knew the history of this place and she had books about it I swear." He told me
"Where's the closet library or store?" I asked Miles
"There's some sort of hippy store like 15 minutes into town, my mom used to take us into town before they died."
"I'm sorry. I don't mean to bring anything up." I explain
"No it's ok. But how are you gonna get there?" He asked me
"Uber." I said plainly
"What the fuck is Uber?" Miles asked laughing slightly
"It's like a cab or taxi just different name." I said calling an Uber
I called the Uber then went to go get my bag with my wallet and other shit I needed and walked downstairs
"Do you want to stay here or come with me?" I asked
"Oh I'm not letting you go by yourself. I haven't been out of these gates in so over five years. Finally I get an excuse" Miles explained
"Should we write a note to Ms. Grose? She's at the Koi pond with Flora." I asked
"Sure" Miles said
We write her a note saying
Ms. Grose, we're going into town. - Miles
"She won't be mad or anything right?" I asked
"I don't know but she works for me" he said with a smirk on his face
"You're an asshole" I told him sarcastically
"The Ubers here"
I got on coat on and we left
-time skip- in front of the shop
We walked inside to see a lot of crystals, sage, fairy lights, tapestry. A vibe I like.
I quickly grab sage and look at the books
"What does paper looking thing wrapped together do?" Miles asked
"You really are clueless" I said laughing
"Am I supposed to know what it is?" He asked laughing too
"Yes. It's sage it helps getting rid of bad energy. You light it and walk around the house and let the smoke cleanse the house." I explained
"Better get a bunch of them" Miles said grabbing a bunch
Then I see a book about possession I grab it before Miles could see then I grab the book that read " spiritual clean-up" then another one that read "Get rid of demons" wow that one is really blunt
Then go up to the cash register to pay
"Clean-up guessing" the man asked
"Yeah. Unfortunately." I told him
"My ex boyfriend and I did a clean-up because him and my mom thought I was possessed." I explained laughing
I laughed at his comment.
"Why'd they think that?" I asked
"Honey do you see me? Babe I'm gay as hell. My mom thought I was possessed because of that and my ex boyfriend was cleansing my mom when she turned her back" he explained
"I'm sorry you don't deserve that" I told him
"Oh honey I'm fine. I'm happier than ever." He said
"That's not even how you get evil out of someone" I said laughing
"I think he should be friends" I told him
"What's your name kid?" He looked at me and Miles
"Miles and Y/n" I said pointing between us
"Well here's your bag and it's on me because I like you kids." He said
"You don't have to do that" Miles said
"It's alright" he said
"What's your number, we should be friends."
I gave him my number and we went on to get back the the Fairchild Residence
