Y/n POV
Beach in California
7:23 pm

I looked at my new engagement ring, Miles must have spent too much on it.

(The engagement ring)

"Mi, how much money did you spend on the ring?" I asked not looking up at him

"Doesn't matter." Miles mumbled putting his hand under my chin

"It's beautiful but it looks like you spent so much on it." I said

"I could spend all my money on you and it still wouldn't be enough." Miles said pulling me close to him and kissing my head

"Did you tell anybody yet?" I asked

"Noah was the one that went ring shopping with me and Penny wanted me to do it." Miles said

"How long we're you planning to do this for?" I asked

"About 2 weeks." He said

Flashback
Miles pov

"Miles you know she would say yes, so why don't you do it." Penny said trying to convince me

"What if she isn't ready?" I asked looking down

"Miles." Penny said scolding me

"She had your baby. She lives with you." She said counting off the reasons

"Alright. Alright. I guess, I'm just nervous."
I mumbled

"Well you have to do it in a special way." Penny said

From there on we planned then it was time for ring shopping

"Noah, you're coming with me to go ring shopping." I said

"Ugh fine.." he said rolling his eyes

Penny was watching the kids while y/n slept so I could slip away fast.

"Hurry up before she wakes up." I said

"Bitch, calm your tits." Noah said grabbing his phone

We went into town to the jewelry store to go look.

We start looking and all the are nice but not good enough for her.

A/n ugh why aren't they're real Miles' out there!!

But eventually one catches my eye.

Nothing could ever live up to y/n but this one really calls to me.

"Noah, what do you think about this one?" I asked pointing to it

"I like that one and I think it would fit her but I like this one better." Noah said pointing to this ring

(The ring Noah likes)

"You are kidding right?" I asked because he said it so seriously

"No, I'm not Miles. And if you can't take me seriously you can fuck off." Noah said with a straight face

"Yeah, I'll take this one." I said pointing to the ring I picked out

"Milessssssss?" Noah said in a tone of voice that's basically trying to get me to do something

"What do you want?" I asked

"I don't have any money.. And you're rich.
So do you think you can buy this ring for me?" Noah asked

"No, that's fucking stupid." I said looking at the ring

"Milessss, my best friend. Please." Noah persuaded

"No"

"Yes"

"Yes"

"Yes."

"Fine." I said rolling my eyes

"You're rich so this won't put a dent in your bank account." Noah said

"Well I'm wasting my money on a piece of shit ring for you." I said

"But you're getting y/n a ring..."Noah said

"Because I'm proposing to her."

"You're proposing me a friendship with this ring." Noah went further on about it

"If I buy it will you shut up?" I asked

"Yes!" Noah said

I rolled my eyes and began to size both rings to make sure they fit

We then check out and we were leaving the shop and going to the car.
Noah was skipping to the car while I was walking.

"Thank you daddy." Noah said

"Noah, shut the fuck up." I said

"Maybe daddy, you should spend more money on me." Noah tried to convince me

"No." I scolded him

"I could be your sugar baby and I'll give you anything you want papa." Noah persuaded sliding his hand up my chest

"Noah, shut the fuck up before I throw that ring out the window." I said patting his shoulder

"Oh ok..Somebody's in a bad mood." Noah mumbled under his breath

Then the rest of the ride was quiet.

Y/n POV

"He asked to be your sugar baby?" I asked

Miles nodded

"Note to self, never bring Noah out shopping with me." I said

"Never again." Miles said

"It's getting kinda cold, you wanna go in?" I asked

Miles nodded

We then went back to the hotel room and we decided to call Penny and Noah to see how things are.

"Y/n! What'd you say?!" Noah asked

"Yes." I said

Both Noah and Penny were screeching over the phone.

"Noah, I heard you were a real pain in the ass to go ring shopping with." I said

"Yeah. Wanna see my ring." He said putting his hand to the camera

"That's so stupid. Why'd you buy him that?" I asked Miles

"He wouldn't shut up." Miles said shrugging

"Damn it! Now I lost all my chances of Miles being my sugar daddy." Noah groaned

"You never had a chance." Miles said

"Don't lie daddy, you want it." Noah said smacking his butt

"Ok. Bye!" Miles said hanging up

"Movie night?" Miles asked

He nodded and we ended up watching The Goonies.

"I love you." Miles said running his hand through my hair

"I love you too." I said kissing him
