Happy family

Fairchild residence
1:12 pm

I woke up from my nap to everyone still asleep, I decided I wouldn't mess up this moment so I just payed there and looked at my beautiful family.

They all look so comfortable and happy.

Flora cuddled up to me.

Miles also cuddled up to me.

Nell in the middle cuddled up to her daddy.

(I'm sorry about the daddy part)

It all makes me so happy and grateful to have them all in my life.

Then I start thinking of my parents,

I don't want my kids to feel the way I felt about my parents.

I want them to feel like they can talk to me and trust me.

Then I get interrupted out of my thoughts when I see Miles moving and waking up.

"Did you sleep at all?" Miles asked

I nodded with a small smile

"Good." He said kissing my forehead

"Wanna make lunch with me?" I asked

He nodded

We set up the baby monitor and put Nell in her bassinet.

We went downstairs and while we were in the kitchen getting ready to make lunch I couldn't stop thinking about my parents, I started to tear up.
Miles noticed this too.

"What's wrong hun?" He asked

"I just..keep thinking I'm gonna end up being like my parents to Nell." I said full of worry

"You're not gonna end up like them. You're so much better, you're different. You're a good mom." He said hugging me

"What if they show up or call again?" I asked

"They won't. I won't allow them to show up. If they do, we can get a restraining order, they won't mess up our lives." Miles reassured

"Thank you." I said muffled between the hug

"For what sweets?" He asked

"Well you allowed me to be here, I was able to get away from my parents, I got an amazing boyfriend and little sister then I got my perfect daughter." I told him with a smile

"Thank you too. You've made my life so much better." Miles said

We stayed in the hug for awhile until we decided to finally make the food.

While we waited for everything to cook we sat down to watch a movie.

As we watched the movie I couldn't help but watch Nell through the baby monitor.

"She's fine baby." Miles said noticing my worry

"I just don't like leaving her alone." I said

I guess it's just a motherly thing to be afraid somethings gonna happen to your baby.

"She's ok. If something was wrong we would know." Miles said

"Ok.." I said putting the monitor down but still keeping an eye on it

"She's so perfect." I said still looking at the monitor

"Of course she is, look at her mommy." Miles said kissing my cheek.

"She looks just like you..I'm glad, you're pretty cute." I said kissing him

We watched the movie until the Flora came down and cuddled up to Miles because she was still tired.
