Miles' birthday chapter, I know it's a day late but too bad.
Y/n POV Fairchild residence May 3rd ⚠️alcohol and weed⚠️
Today was Miles' 18th birthday and we had a lot of plans, most of the plans Miles didn't necessarily care about but we all think in the end he'll love it. So in the day the plan is to all go do something with the family and later tonight Noah and Jack are throwing a party with all Miles' favorite employees and new friends.
I woke up and Miles was still asleep so I went downstairs to make him breakfast. I started making croissants and I had prepared all his favorite fruits. While I was waiting for the croissants to cook I started cutting up the fruit when I heard the baby monitor go off, signifying Nell was awake.
I quickly put down the knife and went upstairs to her room. Once I got in her room he was sitting up in her crib smiling back at me.
"Hi baby." I picked her up and kissed her head as I headed back downstairs.
It was still really early, around 7:30 so everybody was still sleeping and Nell was super tired. I laid her down on the couch with a bottle and put on cartoons in the dark living room so maybe she would go back to sleep while I cooked.
Time skip
I finished cooking awhile ago and just sat on the couch with Nell while I waited for somebody to get up but of course nobody did so I had to do something about it so I went to go wake up Miles. I rushed upstairs, super excited and went to our room and sat on the bed.
"Mi. Mi. Mi. Mi." I shook him and poked his face
"Hmm? What?" He sat up, rubbing his eyes
"Happy birthday!" I gave him the tightest hug
"Thank you. You seem to be in a good mood."
"I made you breakfast. C'mon." I pulled his arm so he would get up
"Ok ok!" He followed
I led him to the kitchen to show him all the food I had prepared.
"Holy shit that's a lot of food!" He exclaimed
"What time did you wake up to make this?" He asked popping a piece of fruit in his mouth
"Likeee maybe six-thirty."
"You could have just slept and that would've been fine."
"Too bad."
"Thank you." He kissed my head
Another time skip
It's been a couple hours of everyone just hanging out until we all had to get ready for our next plans.
