Y/n POV
Fairchild residence
Summer's finally started officially so that means
Jack and Noah constantly drinking by the pool, Flora and Nell playing outside and Miles and I doing well...Whatever we do.
"Nelly! Nell come here. I gotta put sunscreen on you!" I yelled out as she crawled away towards Miles
"Oh, going to get dad to save you I see?"
"Such a little mom." Miles whispered to Nell
"Ok come here Nelly so you can go outside." I grabbed her out of his arms
I lathered a bunch of sunscreen on my hands and put it all over Nell so she wouldn't burn
"Woah that's enough." Miles laughed
"What! She got your pale ass skin and I don't want her to burn." I laughed as well
I lathered the sunscreen on her cheek and nose leaving white marks on her face
(That sounds wrong)
"At least run it in, the poor thing." Miles sarcastically said standing up and wiping some of it off
"That poor child!" Jack said loud enough for me to hear
"Fuck off Jack!" I responded
"Come to uncle Jack the best uncle in the planet." He took her from me
"Uh uh, no I'm the best!" Noah falsely stated
"Come here Nell, you like me better anyways." Noah reached
Nell just looked between them like they were crazy which was not wrong.
"Ok. Flora, do you wanna take Nell outside?" I asked
She nodded and grabbed Nell from Jack, she took her outside while Noah and Jack fought.
Miles and me shortly followed.
We both filled up a little kiddy pool for Nell and Flora to swim in if they want to.
Flora set Nell down so she could play in the grass but instead of sitting Nell wanted to stand but then next thing she did was take a couple steps then full on ran over to Miles before she fell on her butt.
"Yay!" We all cheered and clapped to let her know she did good
"That's the longest distance she's gone since!" Jack exclaimed
"Good job." Miles kissed her head full of raven black curls
Time skip
Flora and Nell were playing in the kiddy pool and Noah and Jack were drinking and laughing.
"Girls, let's go inside, Nell's gotta take a nap." I spoiled all the fun
"Ok." Flora sighed grabbing Nell
Nell reached out and I grabbed her and we all went inside except except Noah and Jack.
"Flora, you can stay out here with us if you want." Jack suggested
She looked at me for approval and nodded
Miles, Nell and I went inside and changed
We changed Nell into some blue acid washed pajamas and Miles and I both changed into sweatpants and a T-shirt to get more comfortable.
"I think I'm gonna take a nap with her, I'm super tired." I yawn.
"Can I join?" Miles asked excitedly
I nodded, smiling at how cute he was when he was excited.
We all laid down in the bed, Nell on Miles' chest and Miles holding me close.
I wish I could spend eternity like this, I know I can't but for now I'll just have to cherish this moment forever.
Once they woke up
I woke up to Nell jumping on top of us for us to get up and attend to what she wanted.
"What Nelly Belly?" I poked her cheek
Her little smile lit up the room.
I got up, rubbing my eyes and picked her up and started walking out the room.
"Leaving without me?" Miles asked getting out of bed
"Nooo, just wanted to let you sleep." I shrugged
"Ohh I see."
Anyways we walked downstairs to see it was cloudy and dark outside, ready to storm.
We saw Flora sitting on a kitchen stool watching the Noah and Jack duo cooking.
"Oh fuck. Did you burn my kitchen down?" Miles asked
"No! We cooked for you, since we're amazing chefs." Noah insisted
Flora tugged on the bottom of my very oversized shirt
"They almost lit it on fire." She whispered
"Shh, Flora you weren't supposed to say anything!" Jack said
"Anyways, we made a very wee wee, French meal." Noah said
I looked into the pot to see pasta
"You mean Italian." I stated
"Nope, French." Jack replied
"Nope, I'm not stupid. Pasta is Italian."
"Ok whatever. Just eat it!" Jack pushed
We all sat down to eat, scared of what was in it
I took a bite and it tasted like a million different things, and not good things.
"Can you stop making that face?!" Noah yelled
"What face?!" We all shouted back
"Like you don't like it! It's good." He said taking a bite but instantly spitting it out
"Not good! Not good!" Noah raised his voice
"What?! It is!" Jack took a bite and also spit it out
"Yeah. Let somebody else cook next time." I added
"Even Flora could cook better than this." Miles exclaimed
"Anybody could." Flora said under her breath
