A/n I like how I completely do this story out of order, I just wrote a Halloween chapter yesterday and it's fucking April.
Also random, but I wish I didn't pussy out to talk to people like I'll start to get to know someone and I like texting them but I'm too scared to start a conversation, let me know if that's just me.
Also one more thing, idk how to run a business so bare with me.

Y/n POV

Today was the day we were going to be talking to the past Fairchild workers from the business Miles' parents had before they passed, we were doing this because after Miles' parents passed away they were still very loyal to the Fairchild's and frequently sent money and other small kind gestures and they agreed we could talk to them about our soon-to-be business.
A/n I don't know if this makes sense

A week ago we decided we would give them a call and see if we could talk to them more about how owning a business works and now was the day.
These past workers now own the Fairchild business,
It was originally left for Miles but he never wanted it because he wanted to successfully start his own.

We had to dress professional and we would discuss all the details of the future for the business.

And of course Miles wore whatever he wanted because he already had huge respect from about anybody he meets because of his reputation,
But I actually wanted to make a good impression.
Flora didn't want to come so she stayed with Noah and Jack, bad mistake probably.
And then we were on our way to their office.

"You nervous?" I asked Miles as he backed out of the driveway

"Not really." He shrugged and rubbed circles on my hand

"Are you?" He asked

"Kinda, it's just this is gonna be a long process and it's gonna be difficult."

"I get it, but these guys are gonna help."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, they were friends of my parents before they started the business and they helped them so why would they not help us."
