Narrator POV

Y/n was laying in the hospital bed with her favorite people surrounding her in love.

She admired her tiny baby drooling on her chest as the love of her life was sleeping next to her.

She knew she should get as much sleep as she could but she couldn't help but look at the beautiful moment happening around her.

She took out her phone and took a picture of the small family together.

She was so in love with Miles and their daughter together.

A/n I've been planning the ending of the story for awhile and I couldn't stop thinking about the ending
(it isn't gonna end for a while) so I wrote it down in my notes and I balled. I couldn't stop crying. I was crying at 3 Am trying to be quiet.

Y/n POV
Hospital
11:17 pm

I know I should be sleeping but I can't help but look at all the beautiful things around.

Miles, the love of my life and our beautiful daughter together.

Nelly is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

She has Miles' long, black, curly hair.

She has his cheekbones and jawline.

She has Flora's eye shape and long eyelashes.

She has my full lips.

She has the most beautiful brown eyes.

Usually babies are born with blue eyes but I guess she's special.

Her little face is all squished up on my chest.

She's perfect.

Miles was next to me cuddling me and his daughter.

I forced him to sleep on the small hospital bed.

I had to gas-light him, I told him I didn't feel good which was half true, but I also just wanted him sleep next to me.

I started to get tired and then I fell asleep.

Morning
7:45 am
We're gonna pretend the baby slept through the night even though it isn't realistic

I woke up to Miles changing Duck's diaper.

I yawned and watched him changing her.

"Morning beautiful." Miles said picking the baby up and walking over to me.

"Hi." I said with a big smile

He came over and kissed me.

"Did you sleep good?" He asked

"She actually slept through the night and I slept better than I did than when I was pregnant." I said laughing a bit

"Good." He said sitting down next to me

"Here I can feed her, she's probably hungry." I said as Miles handed her to me

"What time should Flora come? I told her she could be here for today so Penny could get a break.. if that's ok with you." Miles said sitting down

"Yeah, sounds fun. She can come whenever." I said sitting up to feed Nell

"I'll text Penny to let her know." Miles said pulling out his phone.

I looked down at my sleepy daughter, she was so cute. She doesn't cry much but I'm sure that'll change.

Although I don't feel good she makes everything worth it.
