Truth (Chim)

Chapter 6

Katie's POV

Me, Kim and Diane had been shopping for about 2 hours now. It was so much fun, we couldn't stop laughing at really the most pointless things. Kim kept buying me a lot of things and when I tried to protest, she didn't listen to me. Diane just told me to give up trying because when Kim had her heart set on something it happened.

I had found an outfit for tonight. Just a simple black dress and some flats, I'm not really the heal type, as the only time I have ever worn them was prom so we decided to just stick with the flats. Kim promised that she would teach me how to walk in heals when we get to London but she said that Cheryl was the best at walking in heals so she would be more help.

So far only two fans had recognised Kim and she had politely stopped and taken a few pictures with them. I found it really sweet the way she interacted with her fans because you could tell that she really liked them, she wasn't just bring nice to them because she had to be, she was being nice to them because she wanted to. She had big sunglasses on so it was quite hard to notice her and with it being a school day, there weren't many teenagers around.

"Can we quickly go into the Disney store?" I turned and looked at Kim, I was pretty sure that it was me that was supposed to say somthing like that not her. I glanced at Diane and realised that she had the same shocked expression as me so this obvisously wasn't a normal occurence.

"What? Oh it's not for me, its for Cheryl."

"Oh right cause that makes it so much better." I couldn't help but say this with a smug smile.

"Hey cheeky...I promised I get her something cute and the thing that I was thinking about getting her is in the disney store."

"Haha ok thats fine by me."

For the first time in a bit Diane spoke up. "I will never understand yours and Cheryl's friendship, you are constantly buying each other cute little presents, are you sure there's nothing more between you?"

"Haha very funny mum, I'm just gonna go and buy this, I'll meet you back here in a second." When she was saying that she picked up a cute little Olaf teddy and went to the till to pay for it, I used this oppurtunity to turn to Diane with a slightly confused face.

"What's up hunny?"

"What did you mean before about Kim and Cheryl?"

"Oh nothing hunny. I just like to mess with Kim because her and Cheryl have a really good friendship and there has always been rumours from fans that them two are dating, so i used that to tease her a bit. I did it once and she went slightly read in the face so i have just carried on from then. By the way i hope you know that this means that when you two go back to London, you are gonna have to carry on the teasing for me because I am unable to when i am up here in Bradford."

"Oh ok. Yeah don't worry its fine i will."

"Good. Don't tell her that i have said anything though and it can just be between us two."

"Our own little secret" As i said this me and Diane started laughing and Kim came back over having bought the teddy.

"What little secret? What are you two up to?"

"Oh it doesnt matter hunny" As soon as Diane said this we both walked away laughing and Kim followed us with a pout on her face, pretending to be upset because we wouldn't tell her. She soon cheered up though when we saw New Look.

It was quite werid seeing Kim be so excited for New Look, you would expect that she would be used to shopping in the big posh shops in London but she seemed happy enough here.
