Chapter 87

Kimberley's POV

I feel Cheryl's hand tighten in mine as we hit some turbulence.

She's never liked flying, you'd think she would have got used to it now but she hasn't, even back when we were just friends we would still be in this position.

She needed someone to comfort her and being her best friend, I didn't mind being that person.

I stroke her hand with my thumb and her hand loosens it's grip slightly.

I turn to check on Katie only to see her still asleep. She fell asleep the second the plane took off, I guess that's an advantage of night flights.

We should get to Spain at around 1 in the morning, once we've got our suitcases we plan to go straight to our villa and sleep. The exploring can start tomorrow.

I've stayed in this villa before with my family so I know the nearby area which will be helpful a when we're trying to find our way around.

It's part of a big complex of many other villas and we've got our own pool and it's a short walk to the beach and many different restaurants. It's very private which is just what we wanted.

Cheryl's hand tightens around mine for a spilt second and I feel like I should check that she's alright.

"Are you ok?" I lean in towards her so we only have to whisper.

"Yeah I'm fine, thanks baby."

"Don't worry about it."

She smiles at me before she leans in and places a kiss on my lips. She rests her head on my shoulder and I'm about to go back to reading my book but she speaks up.

"What are you looking forward to most this holiday?"

I take a moment to think about it, there's so much I'm looking forward to yet there's one thing that stands out above the rest.

"Just spending time with you and Katie."

"Same." She raises her head off my shoulder to kiss me quickly again and I find myself liking the affectionate Cheryl.

I put my book down on my seat and turn so I'm facing her completely and she does the same.

This is the first holiday we've had together, just us two without the rest of the girls and it's the first holiday I'll have with Katie. There's nothing I'm not looking forward to.

We're only here for a week and we'll be here for 3 days before Nadine, Nicola and Sarah join us.

She's dressed in white jeans, a white top and a pink jacket and she looks absolutely gorgeous. She proudly displaying her engagement ring along with her award winning smile to add to her outfit.

Since she put this outfit on this morning she knows I loved it and she's been teasing me ever since. When we were finishing packing this morning she was finding every excuse she could to learn over in front of me so all I would see is her tiny, little bum in my face.

When were walking into the airport this morning we had loads of paps taking pictures of us and there were also some fans complimenting Cheryl's outfit, however I knew something they didn't.

Their nations sweetheart, my beautiful girlfriend had gone commando just to tease me even further.

She smiles at me like she knows what I'm thinking and she giggles innocently before cuddling into my side. She takes my arm that's closest to her and wraps it around herself so it's resting over her shoulders.

She settles against me and leans into my ear. "What you thinking about?"

She rests her left hand on my thigh and I immediately take it in mine rubbing my thumb over her engagement ring.
