Kim's POV

Me and Cheryl are both woken up by Katie shouting things and moving in her sleep.

We both share a look before trying to wake Katie up.

"No. Please don't."

"Katie. Come on. You need to wake up." She wouldn't listen to us and was shaking more violently on the bed now.

"Please...stop it. Don't hurt them."

"Katie!" With one last shake to the shoulders she finally woke up.

She was hot and sweating but before she would look at us properly she was off the bed and running into the bathroom.

We both followed her to find her throwing up in the toilet.

"Aww babe."

Cheryl held her hair back while I stroked her back trying to give her some comfort at least.

Once she stopped throwing up she washed her mouth out and then cuddled into my arms while Cheryl went downstairs to get her a glass of water.

We were sat against the cold tiles while she was crying into my chest and I guessed this may have been because of two reasons. Firstly from her nightmare and secondly I know she doesn't like being sick so it always makes her cry anyway.

As we were waiting for Cheryl to come back with the water I picked her up and carried her to mine and Cheryl's bed.

I decided I wouldn't ask her anything yet, I'd wait till Cheryl got back.

As Cheryl walked in with a glass of water Katie stayed cuddled into me, she had her hands gripped tightly onto my t-shirt. She took in a deep breath and started coughing.

"Katie. Have some water, you'll feel better."

I watched as she held the glass and raised it to her lips. Her hands were shaking a lot and I realised this dream must have really affected her.

Once she had had a sip Cheryl took the glass off her and placed it on the bedside table.

Me and Cheryl moved so we were sat in front of Katie on the bed but close enough so she felt comforted.

"What happened in your dream Katie?"

She seemed to have collected herself together now so she was actually able to talk properly.

"It started off as a memory...when I was with him, but he shot me instead...then I had to watch you find out and I couldn't talk to you or comfort either of you. He then came after you and I couldn't stop him...I didn't want him to hurt either of you..."

I'm pretty sure I felt my heart melt.

"Katie. Come here." She fell into my open arms and Cheryl sat beside her stroking her back.

"He's gone now, I promise you. Nobody is ever gonna hurt you again."

She seemed to accept this answer and was soon calmed down completely.

--

Me, Cheryl and Katie had spent the entire morning talking and relaxing in bed.

It was now 1 in the afternoon and we had only just made it downstairs.

It's not like we were doing much now though, we had all moved onto the sofa and had brought our double duvet down with us.

Cheryl and Katie were currently laid cuddled up on the sofa while I was making us some sandwiches.
