Kim POV

Cheryl was stood there, her hair was wet, her make up was half way down her face, she had a cut lip and a red mark around her right eye that looked as if it was going to become a black eye.

"Cheryl...babe. Oh my god. Come in." She didn't say anything and I reached out for her hand and pulled her in the house so she was no longer in the rain. I closed the door and when I turned round to Cheryl she hadn't moved, still holding tight onto my hand and looking at the floor. I pulled her into a hug, wrapped my arms around her shoulders and at first I felt her tense up however she wouldn't let me pull out of the hug because of her arms wrapped tightly round my waist and she soon seemed to calm down into the hug. We were stood there for about two minutes, or it could have been longer I don't really know, before I pulled back and took her into the living room making sure I still had a good grip on her hand because I knew that's what she needed.

I sat her down on the sofa and sat next to her. "Chez...what happened?" She didn't reply but she shut her eyes, looked down and shook her head as if she didn't want to say anything. As she did this a tear escaped her eye and it pained me to see this so I reached over and brought her into a hug. She put her head against my shoulder and I could tell she was trying not to cry.

I looked over at Katie since the first time I entered the room and I could tell she had no clue what to say. Neither did I, I honestly had no clue what to do right now, but I did know one thing. I needed to make sure Cheryl was ok.

"I'm gonna go to bed. I'll see you in the morning." Katie came over and kissed me on the forehead saying goodnight, and as she did this Cheryl looked up from my shoulder and Katie kissed her on the head too, then walked upstairs. It made my heart melt because I knew Katie had really connected with Cheryl over the past few days but I knew now wasn't the time to talk about it.

I took this moment to look at Cheryl properly her make up from today was mostly gone, however she had mascara smudged under her eyes something that would only happen from crying. Her hair was pulled into a messy ponytail on her head and she was still wearing what she was wearing earlier.

"Cheryl...what happened?"

"He didn't mean to."

"Who? Who didn't mean to?"

She just shook her head and repeated "He didn't mean to."

I knew when she was in this state I wouldn't get any information out of her, so I decided to calm her down a bit.

"Cheryl...why don't we go upstairs?" She nodded her head but still doesn't make any effort to move. "I'll get you a glass of water and lock the door and we'll ok upstairs ok?" She still doesn't say anything but as I moved off the sofa she held on to my hand tighter, that action made my heart break, I can tell she is too scared to be on her own and I hate this.

I don't say anything but I make sure I keep hold on her hand, I'm not quite sure how but I managed to lock the door with one hand, and then get Cheryl a glass of water which I carried upstairs for her and put it on the side of the bed when we entered the room.

"How about we get out pjs on?" She slowly nods so I take her over to the closet and help her get a big t-shirt on. She doesn't seem like she wants me to leave her, she didn't want me to let go off her hand even though she had to in order to get the t-shirt on. She seemed really self conscious when I was helping her get changed but I knew it wasn't because I was helping her get changed because we had got ready for tours and gigs hundreds of times together. When I was helping her she always made sure that she had her back fully faced away from me which I thought was weird but I decided not to ask her then but I made a note of it to ask her in the morning.
