Chapter 70

Cheryl's POV

"Can everyone please welcome my favourite girl band of all time, girls aloud!"

The bright lights blinded me momentarily as I walked up the two steps on to the stage just as they always do.

We were on The Graham Norton Show tonight, well it was being filmed tonight then on TV tomorrow, girls aloud were on it to talk about our upcoming tour.

The tickets for the venues sold out so fast, there was even a demand for more tickets, we were just happy that people actually wanted to come and see us.

Sarah, Nicola and Nadine walked out and me and Kim were behind them. Kim was in front of me slightly holding on to my hand leading the way and I'm glad she was otherwise I probably would have fallen over in these heals.

The screams coming from the audience are almost defining but we've got used to it over the years.

Katie was in the front row of the audience, so we could keep an eye on her, clapping and cheering with everyone else making her look adorable.

The interview started off like any other, we took turns answering questions about the tour and how excited we were to be back together again.

When they say stuff like that it makes me laugh, they act like we have no communication with each other unless it's to do with girls aloud but what they don't realise is that we all text each other...a lot.

Graham seems to run out of questions about the tour and he looks at me and Kimba with a cheeky smile on his face.

"Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the first interview you girls have done together since two of you realised some...interesting news."

I couldn't help but laugh along with everyone else and suddenly everyone's eyes were on me and Kimba.

"What?" I obviously knew what they were on about but it was fun teasing graham.

"Oh you know what."

"Do I?"

Kimba started laughing beside me and rested her forehead on my shoulder, I know she doesn't really like situations like this. She finds it awkward and she's told me that she never really knows what to say.

"So how long have you two been together then?"

"Erm 7 months now?" I looked at Kimba just to check and she nodded, confirming what I had said.

As the audience screamed and clapped it suddenly hit me...we had been together for for 7 months, until now I hadn't realised it had been that long.

I looked to Kimba only to see her looking back at me. When we looked at each other like this it was like nobody else existed, we were all that mattered to both of us in this moment of time.

I couldn't resist anymore so I leaned forward and pecked her on the lips, it was only a tiny kiss but it was a big enough kiss to make the whole audience scream once again.

Once the audience had calmed down Graham was finally able to speak again.

"So how did it happen?"

I sat back slightly and let Kimba do the talking for this question.

"Well we both liked each other for a long time, we were just too scared to say anything and I suppose it just kinda happened, we kissed, then told each other how we felt and everything went from there."

"How did Katie react to you two then?"

"Well when Katie first came to live with me, me and Cheryl weren't together at that point but as soon as I introduced Cheryl to her she could just tell that I liked her more than a friend."
