It was time to venture into another village. The skies were in a lighter shade of blue now with swirls of clouds decorating them. Lucius helped me mount on his pegasus and he followed after. The dwarves were all gathered to see us off.
"Oniisan!" I heard Fara call. I looked at him and he was reaching his hand towards me. His mother walked towards us and she lifted Fara up. I looked behind Lucius and he nodded at me as if encouraging me to take Fara. I took Fara by the armpits and sat him by the neck of Argo. Fara giggled and clapped his hands joyfully. Argo released a blow of breath that made its lips shake when Fara pulled its white mane.
"Say bye bye to Oniisan Fara," his mother said. Fara's smile began to falter. His eyes had a sheath of tears as he looked at me.
He crawled up to my chest and grabbed my chlamys as support. "Oniisan no bye bye..." He whimpered.
"Fara...Oniisan has to go," his mother cooed.
Fara sobbed and the sheath of tears fell from his eyes. "Oniisan no leave!" He wailed. I turned my head to ask Lucius for help but he just shrugged and smiled.
What should I do? I hesitantly stroked Fara's back with my gloved hand and lifted his bum so that he can rest his chin on my shoulder. "Lucius...may we bring him?"
"Eh?" Fara's mother and Lucius said in unison. I continued to stroke Fara. His crying was making my ears ring.
"Fara, oniisan will...come back. I'll come back," I stated with a questionable tone in my voice. Fara's cries still continued. I returned him to his mother and I lifted my shirt and unclasped my belt. I gave it to Lucius who began to study the belt. What should I grow?
I imagined something clean and pure just like the innocence of Fara and I grew a white flower. It had so many petals. The petals started big in the outer part and went small as they reached the middle. "That's a se leva (rose)," Lucius said. I gave it to Fara's mother who was having a hard time calming her son. I looked at Fara one last time before nodding to Lucius.
"Adieu! (Farewell!)" Lucius declared. The dwarves responded and I didn't bother looking at them. I did not want to see Fara crying. Argo ran and then flapped its wings. In no time, we were up in the air again, gliding through the smooth skies and interacting with the playful winds.
"This belt..." Lucius began. "It has the rotten souls of catastrophes sealed in it," where did you get this?"
Catastrophes? They sealed catastrophes in that belt? Wouldn't that be a threat to the safety of the Kingdom?
"My trainer gave that to me. They want to seal my power so I had to wear that at all times," I told him.
"Lucius hummed."I see. It makes sense. Your power is far greater than otousan. You may not be able to control it." I remembered what he was trying to tell me last night but we got interrupted.
"What were you trying to say about me last night oniisan?" I questioned.
Lucius took a deep breath. "Oh, I was trying to tell you that- did you just call me oniisan?" He asked in disbelief. "You did, didn't you?" Lucius took me into a tight embrace and howled like a fool. "Yes! You finally called me that! I'm so happy otouto!"
Well there goes the revelation of the person who wanted to take revenge on me. When will I know it? I will assume that I will only discover the reason for them taking revenge once I face them.
"You're never going to regret calling me oniisan. I will be there when you discover whether you're a dominatur (dominant) or a submissus (submissive); I'll be there when you are courted; I'll be there when you make love to your future husband or wife and I'll be there when you get married and have keiki (children)," he uttered excitedly.
