"Kill it! Kill the werewolf!"

My mind began to cloud in a mist of confusion. What was Fenris doing here? Why were they going to kill him? Lucius held me still and he pinned me with his hard gaze.

"Stay here," he commanded.

"Fenris is in trouble. They're going to hurt him," I stated and attempted to stand up only to be pushed down.

"It's dangerous, let me handle it. We don't even know if that's Fenris or not," he pointed out.  Vines grew out from the floor and Lucius restrained my wrists. "Be calm otouto and do not make any noise," he warned sternly.

He immediately stood up and got out of the house, slamming the door shut.

I let out a huff and began to pull my wrists up. I need to see what was happening out there. Why would they hurt him just because he was a werewolf?

The only race you should worry about is your own. All other races are enemies Lucian. They are a threat to your existence.

I stopped struggling and lowered my head at that memory. I then recalled how Fenris ripped his cousin's leg off. They were both werewolves. They were in the same race.

Therefore...

Anyone can be a threat to me. No race was safe. Anyone could take my life and all I can do for now was give life while I can. I'd do what Lucius had taught me. I will be like him.

A flash of a vague occurrence appeared in my mind. There was the face Otousan that seemed surprise. A child talked with such enthusiasm. It gave me a weird feeling that I couldn't explain. It was as if I have experienced this before.

"I want to help other creatures like what oniisan does!"

My head began to throb. I wanted to hold my head with my hands but the vines were too short. No matter how much I struggled, the thing just doesn't break.

A horrifying growl drained the pain from my head. My senses were getting overwhelmed. The door together with some wood surrounding it broke open. The house was shaken with a huge wolf biting every obstacle in his way. His yellow eyes were drowning in fear. He began to pull the vines that restrained me. I saw a dagger sticking in his leg. Blood coated the fur around it. It was fortunate that Lucius made the house unreasonable big for a werewolf such as Fenris to fit.

"Fenris, you are hurt," I murmured.

He successfully removed the vines just in time for a man with very long and smooth silver blue hair enter with a spear in his hand. I saw other elves holding torches from behind him.

The elf's armor looked refined. He seemed more dignified than any other elves I've seen but his eyes held the fondness to kill the being that was growling in front of me. The elf focused his attention from Fenris to me. His eyes sparkled and a smirk formed on his lips. Elves pointed their sharp spears towards Fenris who snapped at every elf that came near. The silver-haired man safely sneaked against the wall and bent down at the level of my head.

"Fascinating..." He whispered and caressed my bottom lip which made me grimace and feel disgust which was an emotion that I rarely feel.

I do not like him.

"Kill the wolf and take this fascinating creature to me," he ordered.

"Freydjadour!" Lucius snarled. He squeezed pass the crowd and stood in front of us. "Don't you dare touch my brother; he is not yours to claim!"

The elven prince scowled. "I get what I want and when I want it. I will even go as far as to eliminate all ancients if I have to. Don't get in my way you worthless scum!"
