Stanford led Shadow down into the basement. She didn't say a word as he led her into a room and pulled out two chairs and they sat across from each other. Shadow still didn't say anything as she checked her pocket watch.
"Are you here to try and make me join Bill?" Stanford asked.
"Huh? Oh. No, I'm not," she said, looking up at him. Stanford looked at her, confused.
"Then what are you here for?" He questioned.
"Be kind to Pacifica," she said, messing with a fidget toy. Now Stanford was super confused.
"What do you mean? Am I not already?" He asked. Shadow shook her head.
"That is all I can tell you. You'll figure it out when the time comes. But I can do something else for you," she murmured, handing him something.
"What is it?" He asked, looking down at the thing she gave him.
"It's some sorta... remote device. You see that button?" She asked, pointing at said button. Stanford nodded.
"Well, if you press the button, something will help you. I cannot tell you what it is, but it should aid you if ever need be," she explained.
"So Bill has found a way to bring back Weirdmaggedon?" He questioned.
"Yes, he has. Keep the device with you until it starts, but when it does, give it to Pacifica," she said.
"Why?"
"Just do it."
"Shadow wa-!" He began, but it was too late. Shadow had already left. With a sigh he looked at the device that she gave him. What was it really? What did it do? He didn't know, but he knew for sure that he should listen her.
(A/N: Yes, Shadow has returned. I originally wasn't going to, but she just adds someone else and makes it a bit more interesting, ya'know? Though I do promise she won't be in all my books. Anyways, thanks for reading this story!)
