About two hours later, Mabel woke up. She still wasn't feeling great, but she felt better. Surprisingly, Dipper and Pacifica appeared to already be awake, as they weren't in bed. With a yawn and a stretch, Mabel got out of bed. She sighed and walked into the bathroom to get ready.
Once she was done, she got out of the bathroom and headed out of the attic. Closing the door behind her, she made her way down the steps. Dipper and Pacifica were at the on the couch, talking. At least, until she came up.
"Surprised to see you two up already," she said.
"Dipper actually woke up first," Pacifica murmured. Mabel cooked her head to the side.
"Why?" She asked.
"He had a nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep," Pacifica said. "I tried to ask him what it was about, but he said he forget," she explained. Mabel looked over to Dipper. He did look extremely frustrated, and that's normally when he can't figure something out or he forgot something. She was about to say something else as Grunkle Ford and Grunkle Stan came up.
"Well kids, looks like we're going to Greasy's Diner," Grunkle Stan said.
"Why?" The three teens asked in unison.
"We're gonna spend the day together," Grunkle Ford said.
"Is something wrong?" Mabel asked. Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford looked at each other, then looked back at them and shook their heads. Mabel looked over to Dipper. The look in his eyes made her think that, not only Grunkle Ford and Grunkle Stan, but he too knew something that they weren't going to tell. Mabel mentally sighed. If they weren't going to tell, she wasn't going to force them.
"Well, are we ready to go?" Grunkle Stan asked them. They nodded their heads, and together they all left the Mystery Shack.
Bill watched them leave. Tonight was the night Pacifica was going to do her end of the deal.
"Just you wait, kid," he murmured. "Just you wait."
