It felt like years, when in reality it was probably only a couple of days. Shadow came to check up on her every now and then, always reminding Pacifica that it was nearly time right before she left. Something about today felt different though. Pacifia's mind kept telling her that it was time, though her heart kept telling her to wait just a little bit longer. Was today the day she would use it? She wasn't sure, but something told her that it most definitely was. To keep her mind occupied with something else, she thought about the Pines'. Were they okay? What was Bill doing to them? Did they also feel that something was going to happen today? She didn't know. She wished that she could ask Shadow, but she had reminded Pacifica every time that Bill would not let her check up on them. Pacifica sighed. She didn't know what to do.
Mabel took in a deep breath. For some strange reason, she had a feeling that they would be saved today, and Weirdmaggedon will be over. She looked over at Dipper. His head was hung low, but his breathing was steady, so Mabel assumed that he was either thinking or asleep. Then she looked at Grunkle Ford and Grunkle Stan, who were across from them. Grunkle Stan had his head turned away, and he was mumbling something as per usual. Whereas Grunkle Ford also had his head down. Did they feel it too? Or was it just her? If so, why just her? Just what exactly was going to happen today?
