It was the next day and Candy and Grenda had to leave. They all shared their 'goodbyes,' but no one really had much enthusiasm or energy. Afterall, they stayed up to 2:00 A.M., and they just now regret it. Grunkle Stan knew as well, so, he let Dipper Mabel and Pacifica go back to bed.
Pacifica yawned. Candy and Grenda had just left, and Stanley let them go back to bed for a couple more hours. So, the three of them were on their way to the attic. As they walked up the stairs and into the attic, Pacifica let her mind wander. Bill has already done his side of the deal, but he hasn't come back to tell me what I have to do. Did he forget? She wondered, then mentally shook her head. How would Bill forget something? That's just something Bill would never do. He doesn't forget things. Then she realized that both Dipper and Mabel were staring at her.
"Are you okay?" Mabel asked.
"Yeah, just thinking," Pacifica murmured. Mabel didn't say anything else as she nodded. Thankfully, Dipper didn't say anything either. Instead, the two of them climbed into bed and over the covers. It wasn't long before their breathing slowed and evened. With a sigh, Pacifica climbed into her own bed. Being as tired as she was, her bed felt as soft as a cloud. With a content sigh she pulled over the covers and closed her eyes, letting sleep engulf her.
