When Mabel got back to the Mystery Shack, Pacifica and Dipper weren't there. She looked everywhere, but couldn't find them. She sighed, but grabbed her phone and typed in Jason's phone number. Once he was added to her contacts, she went upstairs to her room. Sitting on her bed, she decided to see if he wanted to go anywhere tomorrow. So, being her, she sent him a quick text asking him if he wanted to hang out tomorrow. After that, she laid down in her bed and stared up at the ceiling, thinking about where Dipper and Pacifica could be and waiting for Jason to text back.
As soon as Dipper and Pacifica walked out of the mall, the blonde burst into tears. Dipper glanced over at her. He didn't know what to do, or if there was anything he could do. But instead of heading back to the Mystery Shack, he instead turned and led the girl to Greasy's Diner.
Once they were there, they sat at a booth, sitting across from each other. Dipper sighed, then finally spoke up.
"I'm so sorry Pacifica," he murmured. The girl sniffed and rubbed her eyes.
"It's okay Dipper. I would've never had a chance with her anyways. She's too kind, and I'm just a brat," she said. Dipper was taken aback.
"Don't say that!" He exclaimed. "You're not a brat anymore, you've gotten better. Plus, who knows, Mabel and Jason might not ever get together. And even if they do, it probably won't last long," Dipper told her, trying to reassure her. Pacifica shook her head, but didn't say anything else as Lazy Susan came up to them. They ordered their food, and sat and waited in silence.
