Chapter 65

We spent the next few weeks researching the vanishing cabinet and ways to fix it. And by the time we found the answer it was approaching Yule break. 

"Theo stop, we're lucky we found a way to fix it. We can finish when we get back from break. Just take a break." I exclaimed, grabbing his face and holding it so he was looking at me, "Just relax, and enjoy the break while we have it.". 

"I can't Draco! If I fail, he's going to kill me." He whispered, tears slipping down his cheeks. Letting go of his face, I pulled him into a hug.

"I won't let that happen, Theo, we can do this but you need to take a break. If not your going to die trying." I told him, feeling his arms wrap around my back pulling me in tighter. "We can do this together but only if you're healthy.".

I felt him nod and we stayed like this for a few moments longer before letting go and heading back to the common room. Wrapping my arm around his shoulders, I helped keep him standing as he began falling asleep while walking. 

When we reached the common room, I lead him straight over to the couches and set him down. His head falling back as soft snores escaped him. 

"How is he, man?" Blaise asked, coming up behind me.

"Not good, I've convinced him to go home for break. Get him to relax and regain his strength but he's freaking out." I replied, sitting down in one of the nearby chairs.

"Dude needs to chill out, he knows you won't let anything happen to him. Besides, worse things worse is whatever you guys are doing does get done until the end of the school year."

I nodded, watching him head to the dorms, and laid my head back in the chair. Closing my eyes, I began drifting off myself. The last thing I heard was an exasperated sigh before I fell alseep.
