Chapter 16

I woke up to Dray shaking me. When I opened my eyes I saw his beautiful grey-blue ones staring back at me. I immediately began smiling before getting up and ready. When I got out of the shower I remembered I never showed Dray my findings. I got dressed quickly before running into the dorm and finding the papers for Dray. I handed him the papers when he walked out of the bathroom. As he read them his face lit up like a Christmas tree. "This is amazing Harry." He said smiling as he picked my up twirling me around, careful of his arm.

Yesterday, Dray and I had had our first COMC lesson. Hagrid made me go up onto the Hippogriff first. I have to say it was exhilarating. When I landed I got off Buckbeak and began petting him before stepping aside. Dray came up and began making fun of Buckbeak so Buckbeak retaliated by hitting him in the arm. Breaking it. He had to go to the hospital wing and get it fixed and be kept in a sling. Anyway.

We went down to breakfast before our next DADA class. For breakfast, Dray dished me up some pancakes, eggs, and hashbrowns before dishing up his own plate similar to mine. As we finished up our breakfast and rushed down to the DADA classroom in hopes to catch Professor Lupin before class starts or anyone else gets there. When we reached the classroom no one was in the classroom. We took our seats and waited.

As students started pilling in and taking their seats, Sev came bursting into the classroom closing the windows making it darker. He came up to the front of the classroom pulling down a screen, "Turn to page 394.". Everyone began to turn the pages except a few Gryffindors, "Excuse me, sir... where's Professor Lupin?" Granger asked. Snape turned around, "That's not really your concern, is it, Granger? Suffice it to say, your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Page 394.". Sev waves the moth away, blows out a candle and a slide show begins. Weasley frowns down at his book, "Werewolves?".

"But, sir, we've only just begun learning about Red Caps and Hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks --" Granger began with Sev cutting her off, "QUIET! Now. Which of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf? No one? How... disappointing.". Granger begins again, "Please, sir, an Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice in the matter. Furthermore, the werewolf actively hunts humans and responds only to the call of its own kind --," Dray lets out a LOW HOWL. Sev turns to Dray before going back to Granger, "Quiet, Malfoy! Though one must admit to feeling your pain. That is the second time you have spoken out of turn, Miss Granger. Tell me. Are you incapable of restraining yourself? Or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?".

Class ends, Dray and I stay behind to talk to Sev. As I was walking up Sev turned, "I know what you wish to as Harry. But, I am not allowed to tell. Although, I can tell you it has something to do with today's lesson.". We nodded before leaving for the rest of our classes.
