Chapter 30

Today is Thursday so the names will be drawn. Earlier this week as Dray and I sat in DADA class waiting for Barty. Right then Barty cam in, "Alastor Moody, Ex Auror... I believe in a practical approach. How many unforgivable curses are there?". The mudblood raised her hand, "Three, sir.", "And they are so named?", "Because they are unforgivable. The use of any one of them will-", "Will earn you a one-way ticket to Azkaban. Correct! Give us a curse.".

The weasel raised his hand. "WEASLEY! Give us a curse.". He gave the imperious curse. Barty performed it on a large spider. Longbottom gave the cruciatus curse. Barty performed it on the spider until the mudblood yelled at him to stop. He asked her for the last curse and she looked down. He yelled, "Avada Kedavera!". He killed the spider(good riddens*shudders*), "The killing curse. Leaves no physical traces. Only one person has survived it and he's sitting in this room." He said looking at me and winking, as the class looked at me as well.*

At dinner, Dumbledore stood up, "I suspect the Goblet will take a few more minutes. Until then I would like to congratulate all the students who entered and may the best man or woman win.".  After a few minutes, Dumbledore was standing in front of the goblet. A few seconds later and a piece of paper flew out. He read each of them, "The Durmstrang Champion is Victor Krum, The Beauxbatons Champion is Fleur Delacour, The Hogwarts Champion Is Cedric Diggory. Congrats champions.". Just as he finished a fourth ticket came out, "Harry Potter." He whispered. "Harry Potter!" He yelled. I looked at Dray with a terrified expression. 

He nodded with a worried look on his face. I slowly got up and walked towards Dumbledore. I cast Sevvy a glance of fear as I continued walking. I got into the room with the other champions and Cedric walked towards me, "What is it, do they want us back upstairs?". I shook my head and choked down a whimper, "I have been chosen as a champion.". His eyes widened and he rushed to hug me. I whimpered and scrambled to get away from him. He noticed this and backed away. Sev burst through the doors and pretty much ran to me until he saw Cedric. He growled and Cedric ran towards the other Champions leaving us together. 

He ran to me and pulled me into a hug. He smelled my hair and pulled back a bit. "Did he touch you?". Crying I nodded, "He tried... tried to hug me. I wiggled... out of his... his grasp.". He hushed me and stroked my hair, "Shh... hey it's okay. It's fine.". We heard Dumbles voice so we jumped apart. Sev looked at me, "Harry, did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?". 

I figured out what he was doing so I played along, "Of course not Professor.". He nodded and spoke as Dumbles came into the room, "Did you ask one of the older students to do it for you?". I frantically shook my head. Madame Maxine came in with the other champions, "But of courze, he iz lying.".

Fleur came up and I felt her magic trying to touch mine so I allowed it. Her eyes grew, "Madame, il est enceinte," she turned to me, "Harry, voulez-vous que nous le racontions?". I felt my eyes grow twice as large, "S'il vous plait ne" I pleaded. Fleur and Madame Maxine nodded in understanding. I looked around to see Dumbles, Karkaroff and the other champions confused.

I turned around and sent a wink to Sev. Madame Maxine spoke, "According to my prized ztudent he iz not lying. Zhe can tell.".

Madame il est enceinte: Mrs. he is pregnant
