Chapter 43

When we finished, it was nearing time for the ball. Cissa went down to the floo first after helping me get a good hold on Clary and Val. I stood as Tootsy popped into the room quietly.

"Master Harry, Master Dark Lord bes telling mes to tell yous that it is time for yous to come down." He told me. I nodded and he held out a hand, apparating us to Riddle manor before popping away.

I began my descent down to the platform in the middle of the stairs causing everyone in the ballroom to turn and gasp at the sight of me. I looked over at the other side of the stairwell to see Tom descending to meet me. He met with me; taking Clary from my hands, swinging her onto his hip before holding out his arm to me.

I smiled at him and linked my arm around his, allowing him to lead me down to the bottom of the stairs where Sev and Dray were. My smile widened as we reached them. Tom took hold of Val long enough for me to give them both a hug before Dray took both girls, Sev snatching up Clary into his arms.

"How are my beautiful princesses doing?" Sev asked, twirling Clary as I laughed at his antics.

"They have been absolute darlings." I laughed as he pulled me by the waist into a deep kiss.

"And how has my prince been doing?" He whispered against my neck. I shuddered and pulled back a bit.

"I have been good as well," I said, pulling away. I felt Tom come up behind me, placing a hand at the base of my back as Sev and Dray took post on the sides of me, leading us to a small platform with three large thrones. Draco took the far right one with Val, Sev at the far left with Clary with Tom in the middle. I must have looked confused because Tom pulled me into his lap and whispered in my ear.

"So, everyone will know you are mine, that all five of you are mine." He explained. I smirked and leaned into Tom as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Everyone, we are gathered here today to honor my return to power and to announce the bonding between myself, Draco Lucius Malfoy, Severus Tobias Snape, and Harry James Potter-Black. As a result of this bonding are your dark princesses; Clarissa Camille, and Valentina Sophia." Tom announced.

Everyone in the hall began cheering and clapping. I smiled knowing that these cheers were not copied but genuine and that Clary and Val would be safe from the light. I snuggled into Tom contently as he continued talking to the crowd.

Eventually, the party portion of the evening began. Tom immediately took my hand, bringing me to the dance floor. I placed my hands in his as a waltz began. Slowly, we began dancing around the floor as everyone began joining in. I looked over to see Dray and Sev each holding one of the girls as they danced as well. I giggled, leaning my head on Tom's chest as I watched them, dancing along with us.
