They say moving houses is a big thing, but what about moving continents? That's what Shivaay was facing right now. Shifting from Mumbai to Goa was one thing, but shifting from Asia to Europe was a whole different thing. He could feel the nervousness bubble up in his stomach as the plane took off and carried him towards the life he had dreamt of, a life with the love of his life, his Annika, who was waiting eagerly for him back at home.
Home. What was home exactly for him now? Was it the mansion where his brothers lived? Or was it the house where Annika and Shivi lived? Or was it both? Right now, he was feeling homesick, but for which home, he didn't know.

"Mumma, Mr Shivaay is coming here?" Shivi asked with wide, wondrous eyes and Annika nodded.
"Yes baby, he'll be here soon!" She said a little too eagerly but her daughter didn't seem to mind.
"Really Mumma? Is Rumya also coming?" She asked excitedly and Annika pouted, shaking her head. "Why, why, whyyy!"
"Because-
"She school? But Mumma, she have vacations na? You talk to her teacher please pretty please!" Shivi all but gave a solution, with a watery pout, which made her mother chuckle in delight.
"Shivi, Rumya is very small, right? So she cannot go anywhere without her Mumma." Annika said and removed a stray hair from her daughter's face. "Do you remember, when you were little, you always wanted to hold my finger?"
Shivi nodded and resumed her drawing as Annika noticed the colors on the white paper.
"What are you drawing?" She asked, focusing on the white paper which had colorful stick figures sprawled all over them.
"Letter for Mr Shivaay." Shivi shrugged, as if it was the most natural thing for her to write colorful letters to Shivaay. Annika laughed.
"But baccha, you haven't written anything? It's just your amazing drawings here?" She said, putting away a stray hair from her daughter's forehead.
"Mumma, I don't know how to." Her daughter's bright ocean-like eyes stared back at her and Annika almost melted in them.
"That's it? Come on, I'll help you. Tell me what you want to say?" And with that, Annika placed her daughter onto her lap, and together, they wrote the cutest letter ever to their newest family member.

Shivaay's flight landed around 1 am and he was too tired to even open his eyes. By 2 am, he was in his hotel room (Annika and he had decided that Shivaay would stay in a hotel for the next few days, until he settled, as to not disrupt Shivi's routine and give her time to adjust), showered and in bed, already half asleep.
10 hours later, he woke up to a shrilling noise, coming straight from his ear. His arms flailed all over the large bed and successfully grabbed his ringing phone, which had now gone silent. Cracking his sleepy eyes open, he almost jumped back looking at the bright screen.
39 missed calls

Groaning, he remembered he had forgotten to inform anyone that he had landed safely and also had missed to text the hotel details to Annika.
"They're gonna kill me." He mumbled to himself as he unlocked his phone.

Heyyyy cutie, landed?
Hello, kahan ho?
Shivaay, you've landed na?
Your flight details say you've landed, where are you?
It's been two hours since the flight landed, you must be out of the airport by now, text me soon!
It's 4 am Shivaay, where the hell are you?
This is why I told you I would book the hotel so I could have the details, but nahin, you've to be stubborn and over smart. Now I don't know where are you in this god-forsaken city!!!
This is why I hate you sometimes, you just have to be so IRRITATING.
I am sorry, I am just very worried about you.
Shivaay?
Hey, if anyone is reading this message, this man is Shivaay Singh Oberoi. You can contact me in case of any emergency! I am his girlfriend, Annika.
Okay, I am going to try to sleep. I am 64% sure you are safe. Love you.
Fine I lied, I cannot sleep!
SHIVAAAAAYYYYYY???? IT IS 9 FREAKING AM, WHERE IN THE WORLD ARE YOU?
And so on and so forth.
For the next two hours, Shivaay was thoroughly occupied in calling every single person back and apologizing for sleeping. Om and Rudra had sighed breathes of relief as Gauri and Soumya could be heard grumbling and laughing. He also (very faintly) heard his Mom doing some mantra jaap. Vikram and Sonakshi seemed fine and Siddharth didn't really care much. And Annika screamed and shouted and cried at him for the first 15 minutes of the call.
All in all, it was a very interesting start to his new life.
To be continued...
(I am very sorry for abandoning this story all of a sudden, too many things were happening (all good things btw) but finally, I AM BACK!)
