"So...are you excited?" Sonakshi raised her eyebrows in excitement as she put her daughter down on the diaper table to change her.

"For what?" Annika frowned. "To throw Aashima's dirty diaper?"

"Uh? No! For Shivaay's...arrival." She said, shaking her head.

"Umm...I guess." Annika shrugged, taking the dirty diaper and disposing it. "I mean; I don't really know."

"Make a decision already!" Sonakshi mumbled.

"What?" Annika asked.

"I said, make a decision. Are you happy? Yes, or no?" Sonakshi said, dressing her daughter in overalls. "Simple question."

"I am. A little." Annika said, with a tiny smile.

"Woman? Are you blushing?" Sonakshi grinned with wide eyes.

"I am not!" Annika said, shaking her pink face.

"Look in the mirror and say that." Vikram said, walking in while munching on a protein bar. "I can see you red face from outside the room."

"Bullshi...ship." Annika cleared her throat. "Sorry."

"Are you going to receive them at the airport?" He asked and she shook her head.

"No. I'll meet them tomorrow at the office." She said, folding the baby's clothes.

"I think...we should invite them to dinner this weekend." Vikram said and his daughter suddenly laughed. "And Aashima agrees! Done!"

"What...why?" Annika said slowly.

"Well...because I want to. And I want to see their daughter too! Oh my God, what if our daughters become best friends?" Sonakshi said excitedly, looking at her husband who nodded in agreement.

"What's her name?" Vikram asked as they all walked out of Aashima's room.

"Rumya." Annika said. "Oh my God...I should get a gift for her, right? Oh shi...ship, I totally forgot!"

"Give her one of Aashi's gifts." Sonakshi said with a shrug. "There are so many which are still packed from her baby shower. I think there are two-three for one plus olds which she won't need for another few months. Seriously, what do people think a month old baby can play with? There's this elephant pillow which is twice her size!"

"I'll give her that!" Annika said with interest. "Shivaay told me Rumya loves soft toys!"

"And when did he tell you that? When you were texting your boyfriend? Huh, huh?" Sonakshi teased her as if Annika was a teenage girl.

"As a matter of fact, yes. And he's not my boyfriend." Annika said and sat down on the couch.

"So what is he? What do you call this relationship? Text buddies?" Vikram asked, raising his eyebrows.

"He's my...friend-

"Oh please! You have a crush on him, admit it!" Sonakshi guffawed and Aashima cooed. "She agrees too!"

"Crush? On him? No way!" Annika said loudly, too loudly.

"Yeah okay, you simply can't lie. Can we eat now; I am starving?" Vikram complained and walked inside the kitchen.

"Help yourself, I already ate." Sonakshi sighed. "Where are the kids?"

"Sid took them to that new playground. He just messaged me twenty minutes ago. They are eating pineapple pizzas." Annika said while playing with Aashima.

"Gross." Sonakshi said, making a retching face.

"Says the woman who ate nothing but chili ice cream for dessert. For nine months." Annika said with a tight smile.

"Touché." Sonakshi nodded and closed her eyes, wrapping herself with a blanket. "I am going to take a nap."

"And I am taking little Ms Jaisingh for a walk." Annika said, taking Aashima in her arms.

"Her socks and mittens are in her room, left shelf, second drawer." Vikram said as he ate his dinner.

"Okay." Annika nodded and went inside.

"And her cap too!" He shouted and his wife glared at him with sleepy eyes. "Love you babe, goodnight."

As soon as they reached the airport, Shivaay quickly made calls to confirm about Rudra and Soumya's room to be ready for Rumya's requirements, a crib, diapers, baby food, milk etc., before they reached while Soumya called home to inform everyone they had reached London safely and Rudra tried to quite his crying daughter.

"Don't cry in a foreign land baby, please?" He rocked her as she kept on crying, her tiny face turning pink by the minute. "Oh my, what happened!"

"I think she's feeling cold." Soumya said, quickly taking out a peach-colored sweater from her baby bag. "Here."

"Come on! We won't cry now, okay?" Rudra said in a calming tone as he put on the sweater on his daughter.

"The car is here." Shivaay said as four bodyguards came forward and their luggage was taken while they all walked outside.

"Heat up the car, baby is feeling cold." Rudra said to the driver as the car stopped in front of him.

"Sure Sir." The driver nodded as Soumya sat back in the car with a now considerably quite Rumya, who was still whimpering a little.

"Her whole sleeping schedule has gone down the drain!" Rudra grumbled as Soumya calmed down their daughter.

"Mine too." Soumya sighed loudly, sitting back on the seat and putting her daughter on her chest. "I am going to take a quick nap."

"Me too!" Rudra said and sat back as well, closing his eyes and snaking his arm around his wife's warm one.

Siddharth found his brother's home silent as they walked inside. The lights were dimmed and there seemed to be no one inside, it was so still.

"Why is it so quiet?" Sahil asked, looking at Siddharth.

"How would I know?" Sid shrugged. "Call Annika."

"Annika Didi!" Sahil whisper-shouted and Aryan giggled.

"Call means call her on the phone Mama!" Shivi said and Sahil nodded with a understanding.

He took out his phone and dialed his sister's number. A shrill ringing noise came from behind them and they jumped loudly, making Annika scream and Aashima cry. Hearing the baby suddenly cry, Shivi shrieked and Aryan shouted, making Siddharth and Annika yell at all of them to keep quite, which all made Sahil laugh loudly. In less than fifteen seconds, the silence of the home was filled with cries, screams, shouts and laughs.

"Who's there! Who's there!" Vikram came running down from the stairs, a base ball bat in his hands and Sonakshi behind him, armed with a metal water bottle.

"It's us!" Siddharth said, switching on the lights quickly. "Please don't kill us!"

"Oh my God!" Sonakshi sighed, shaking her head. "I thought-

"You were dead today. I understand." Annika nodded, rocking a now quiet Aashima. "I thought the same!"

"No, I thought my husband will definitely commit a murder today. You should have seen the look on his face. Bloodymurder." Sonakshi shuddered and Vikram chuckled.

"Mumma!" Aryan cried, tears still sticking on his wet face, running to his mother.

"Come on, don't cry!" Sonakshi held him tight as Vikram took Aashima in his hands and Shivi hugged her mother.

"Come here bro!" Siddharth said, looking at Sahil and hugging him tightly.

"Ow I can't breathe!" Sahil shouted, trying to pull away.

"Not important, it's hug time!"
