Chapter 20

Grace woke up the next morning and the baby's kick woke her up. Severus was still asleep. Grace got out of bed and went to the bathroom. She was basically hugging the toilet and it was from morning sickness.
She walked back into her room and closed the door. She opened we chest of drawers and pulled out a knee length, brown,wool dress that had long sleeves. She pulled out a pair of black leggings and put them on. She pulled her slippers from under her bed and she put them on.
Once she was dressed she brushed her hair and put it in a ponytail. She opened the bedroom door again and she walked out, closing it behind her. She walked downstairs and into the kitchen.
She opened the fridge and collected eggs, butter and milk. She opens the cupboard and collected flour and sugar. She got the frying pan and the mixing bowl. She poured the flour and sugar together following the eggs, butter and milk. She mixed them together.
She poured the mixture onto the frying pan and flipped the mixture. She made pancakes for her father. She put the pancakes on a plate and the plate was on a tray. She poured some golden syrup in the pancakes and placed some blueberries on the sides.
She put a glass or orange juice on the tray and she placed the knife and fork in the tray. She picked up the tray and took it upstairs. She knocked on Severus' door and walked in. Severus was still half asleep but her heard her coming in. He turned over and sat up. Grace placed the tray on his lap.
"Good morning father." She said,
"Good morning Gracie. What's this for?" Severus replied,
"Well today I find out if my baby is a boy or girl. So basically I'm excited." Grace said and she left the room.
Severus picked up the knife and fork and started eating. Grace walked into her room and picked up her handbag. She put her phone, purse and notepad in it. She took her hand bag downstairs and she started to wash the dirty dishes.
Severus finished his pancakes and blueberries and he stood up and got dressed into his usual black robes. He took the tray off his bed and held it while he walked downstairs. He walked to the kitchen and put his tray on the kitchen bench.
He walked back to the living room and he started to write a howler to the Malfoy's.
'Lucius,
When Draco arrives tell him that Grace has been to the doctor and she knows what the baby is. She will tell him when he comes to stay with us.
Severus.'
He sent it off. Grace started to wash Severus' plate, knife and fork. She put the tray back in the cupboard and she walked into the living room.
At 12 o'clock Grace walked upstairs and picked up her coat. She walked back downstairs and she picked up her hand bag.
"Ready to go Grace?" Severus asked,
"Yes. I'm nervous." Grace replied,
"You will be." Severus said, he took her hand and they walked out of the front door. Severus made a car appear and they climbed in. Severus was in the drivers seat and Grace was in the front passengers seat.
They drove off to the hospital and Grace was getting more nervous every minute she was getting closer to the hospital.
