Chapter 22

"Draco!" Grace cried, she hugged him tight but trying not to crush the baby, "come in."
Draco walked through the door and into the living room. Severus turned and saw him. He smiled.
"Welcome to our home Draco." Severus said,
"Thank you godfather." Draco replied, he sat down on the sofa while waiting for Grace. She followed and sat down on her mothers chair again.
"Have you got a picture of my child?" Draco asked,
"Yes I have. father would you please give it to him?" Grace said, Severus nodded and he stood up passing the picture to Draco. Draco smiled at the picture.
"Boy or girl?" Draco asked,
"Boy. I thought of the name already." Grace replied,
"What name?" Draco said,
"William. His full name William Louis Malfoy." She replied, Draco smiled,
"I love it and you." Draco said, grace stood up and walked over. She threw her arms around his neck, nearly strangling him. When Grace tried to pull away, Draco kissed her stomach. Grace filled up with tears.
"I love you too." Grace replied, she put her hands on Draco's head and Severus walked out of the room. He went to his study.
"Draco I was thinking about planning the baby's room. Come let me show you." She said, Grace picked up Draco's hand and pulled him.
Draco followed and they walked up the stairs. Grace walked along the landing and she opened the door to the baby's new room.
It was the same size as Grace's room but it had a bay window. The flooring was brown wood similar to Grace's. However the walls were different, they were cream with a tint. The window was the biggest thing there.
"Draco I was thinking about putting the crib behind the door and all of the photos and toys on the window sill. A chair could go in the corner and opposite the crib could be a chest of drawers. Do you like the idea?" Grace said,
"Yeah it's a great idea but maybe we could paint the walls blue and a round rug. Maybe that could be blue too." Draco replied, he put his right arm on Grace's left shoulder, around her body and his left hand on her stomach.
"Yes. Definitely." Grace said, she leaned back against Draco's arm and she looked up at him.
Draco looked back at her and they both smiled. Draco put his head forward and kissed Grace. She lifted her head and kissed him back.
"I'll show you around the house." She said.
They started upstairs and then downstairs. Draco was constantly hearing this is that and this is this room. He could never see himself walking normally after being through so many doors.
They ended their tour back in the living room.
"-and then we're back here." Grace said, she finished her explanation of what room was what.
Draco sat back down and stared at the fireplace. Severus walked back into the living room. He sat down on the sofa with a newspaper.
"What!?" Severus cried, Draco and Grace stared at him.
