Chapter 37

William woke Severus and Grace up, just after sunrise. The crying made Grace think about the previous night with Lucius, about if she may be pregnant. She got up and picked William up, placing him on her chest but Severus got up and got dressed.
"Grace, do you know where your going to sort things out for the day?" He asked,
"I think so. Is it the normal charms classroom?" Grace replied,
"Yes. But come to breakfast and I'll Madame Pomfrey to look after William during the day in here." Severus said, Grace nodded her head.
She placed him back down in the crib and she waved her wand, to create a pram for William. She put her wand away and she opened the wardrobe, pulling out a long black dress and robe to go on top.
She put them on and dressed William in some say clothes. She then put William in the pram. Severus opened the door and let Grace walk out with William then he closed the door behind them. He followed Grace and he placed a hand on her shoulder.
They walked through the corridors and they entered the great hall. There was an empty space next to Severus at the end of the table and Grace had her new space. With her chair being at the end of the table, she could have William next to her or in between her and Severus.
Severus walked up to the chair and pulled it out for Grace. She walked up after him and she sat down on the chair. Before Severus sat down, he put William in between them. William was in the middle of his mother and his grandfather. The closest family he had.
Dumbledore was in the middle of the table with McGonigall to his right. Severus sat on the right hand side of Dumbledore and he was in line with his house table. The same how McGonigall, Sprout and Flitwick would. Since Flitwick left Professor Trelawny sat in line with the table.
The hall echoed when a sound was made and the ghosts hadn't turned up yet. Not even peeves who was a trouble maker.
"Good morning Grace." Professor Dumbledore said,
"Good morning Albus." Grace replied, she started to eat the food that was on the table. Sausages, bacon, eggs, toast and cereal.
Grace placed two slices of toast on her plate with three sausages. She had a glass of pumpkin juice at the top right hand side of the plate and on the left was a cup of tea. William was asleep in the pram and Severus kept looking at him, smiling.
Once Grace had finished eating with the other staff she made her way to the classroom with William. She looked through all of the papers that was left on her long wooden desk. On the top it said 'Timetable and class topics.'
She read through the work that Flitwick had left her and she kept checking on William. He was with Madame Pomfrey in their room.
