Chapter 19

"Grace what is it?" Severus asked,
"Just something that Draco put down in the letter. He said 'I want to know if it's a boy or girl.' It's like he wants this child." Grace replied. She put the letter down and stood up. She walked into the kitchen and made a sandwich.
Filled with chicken, lettuce, cucumber and cheese. She put the sandwiches on a plate and walked back into the sitting room.
She sat back down, only this time, in her mothers chair and Severus was still reading Grace's assignments.
"Grace how much do you understand on the liquid luck potion?" Severus asked,
"A lot. I understand how to read it and how to make it." Grace replied, she picked up one of the sandwiches and ate it. Severus looked at her and imagined Selena. He smiled.
"What are you thinking?" Grace asked,
"You. You look like your mother especially when you sit there." Severus replied, "She would sit there everyday and stare at the fireplace. Or when she was pregnant she would sit and watch you moving in her stomach. She would be so proud of you."
Grace smiled and filled up with tears. He stood up and walked over to her. He took her hand and started to walk. Grace stood up and followed him.
"Father where are we going?" She asked,
"I'm taking you on a walk. We'll take buck beak to the forest and we'll walk there." Severus replied, he opened the back door and Grace followed him.
Severus waved his wand and created a stepping stool. Grace stepped on it and climbed onto buck beak. Severus slapped buck beak and told him to fly to the forest. Severus, however, disappeared.
An hour later they came back from the forest. They talked out what they would do when the baby was born, what they would do for the next nine months and about the Malfoy's. The forest was fill with nests in the trees and holes in the ground for rabbits and foxes.

4 months later...
"Father I want to make an appointment." Grace said, she was sitting reading a short romantic novel,
"What for Grace?" Severus asked, who was making the draught of living death potion,
"I want to see what my baby is." Grace replied,
"Ok I'll come with you. I also forgot to tell you that Draco is on leave from school. He will be coming here for his last days." Severus said, Grace formed a smile and Severus stopped, "calm down Grace. He will be with his family for 4 days. Then us for 3 days."
"Father can we start decorating the spare room for the baby?" Grace asked,
"Of course once you find out the baby's gender you can start but take your time." Severus replied, "I'll try and get a appointment tomorrow."
Severus walked to his study and made a telephone. He rang the hospital and got Grace an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. The appointment was for 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
He walked back into the room after making the phone disappear.
"Grace your appointment is for 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon." Severus said,
"Yes father. I'm going to go for a lie down. I'm a little tired." Grace replied, she moved the blanket from her legs and she started to walk upstairs. She opened her bedroom door and walked in. She closed it behind her and she lay down on the freshly made bed.
She fell asleep and dreamed. She was able to dream as Voldermort had not been in her dreams for a while. Grace dreamt of the seeing the baby and seeing Draco after staying away from school for so long.
The next day would be one of the best days in Grace's life...
