Chapter 49

Draco tossed and turned, starting to wake up. He saw that Grace wasn't next to him and he sat up. He looked around the room and saw that William was asleep in the crib. Draco smiled to himself.
Grace walked into the bedroom, looking green. She smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Are you okay sweetheart?" He asked,
"Yes. Just a little morning sickness from the baby." Grace replied, holding her stomach.
Grace sat down on the bed and Draco moved closer to her. She turned her head, to face him. Draco leaned in and kissed her. She deepened the kiss and her lips tingled after he kissed her.
"I love Grace." Draco said,
"I love you too, my darling." Grace replied, she leaned her head against his shoulder and she closed her eyes for a few seconds.
Grace opened her eyes and heard William crying. She stood up and she walked over to the crib. She carefully lifted the fragile child out and she wrapped her arms around him. She walked over to the bed and sat down, placing William on his back.
"Sweetheart, its Williams birthday in a few days. We need to do something for him." Grace said, Draco nodded his head,
"We should." Draco agreed, "I think it would be best if family came to the family manor since we are here all year round. Only family should come."
"Yes. Since it is also his first birthday. I also want to go to the doctors and find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. But I want to go alone so I can surprise you all. I'll tell you on his birthday." Grace said, "you can plan the party as I want to plan my appointment. I'll go and get it sorted today."
Draco nodded and he kissed Grace's cheek. She gave William to Draco and she got up to get dressed. She pulled out a pair of blue jeans and a purple t-shirt with her underwear and socks. She got changed while Draco played with William. Grace took William off of Draco and she changed his diaper. Draco got changed and Grace changed William's clothes. Grace chose a pair of beige shorts with a white and blue polka dot shirt for William. William's hair and eyes matched the outfit indefinitely.
Draco walked back in and he sat down next to Grace, staring at William. He smiled at Draco and Draco was shocked. He smiled back down at the gurgling baby.
"Grace, he's smiling at me." Draco said, Grace looked at him in concern,
"Be careful. There's something I didn't tell you." She said,
"What is it Grace?" He asked, concerned,
"Well, when he was first born, he had a... a small lightning bolt that was green. He hasn't had it a long time. But it took me to a room and it was empty." She replied, "It hasn't been in his eye for a few months and I kinda left it alone."
Draco leaned over and he put his arms around her.
"It'll be okay. I promise." Draco said, leaning in for a kiss. Grace looked at him and she let him kiss her.
"Draco, I'm going to leave William with you and father. I'll go and book my appointment with the doctor." Grace said, she stood up from the bed and she kissed William on the forehead.
She left the room and walked straight downstairs. Severus was in the living room, reading the daily prophet. He it his papers down and looked at Grace. He smiled at her and she smiled back.
"Good morning Grace. Where are yup off to?" He asked,
"Good morning and I'm off to book and appointment with the doctor." She replied,
"Why?" He asked, concerned,
"So I can find out what the baby is. I haven't decided on names yet." Grace replied, Severus lifted his papers again and started to read.
