MOROCCO WITH EVERYONE

Halos hindi na makahinga si Phillie at Kai sa pag tawa habang naglalakad pauwi nang mag presenta si Kai na ihatid siya dahil sa malalim na ang gabi. Ilang oras na rin silang magkasama dahil pagkatapos sabay na kumain ay nagka yayaan pa para uminom ng kaunti.

Phillie's leaning on Kai's arm while they're walking.

"You were apprehended just because you crossed the road to get the cat?" Phillie kept on laughing.

Kai sighed as he chuckled. "It's already been an hour, Phillie, why are you still laughing about that?"

"Kai, it's just so funny." Phillie snorted as she started to wipe the side of her eyes from crying.

Kai shook his head and chuckled as he spotted a bench near them. Hinatid niya roon si Phillie at dahan dahan na inupo. Inayos ang suot na coat para hindi malamigan sa hamog ng gabi. Sa gilid ng bench ay ang isang vending machine.

"Where are you going?" Phillie asked him when Kai got up in front of her.

Kai chuckled. "I'm going to get you something to sober up, drunkard."

Ilang segundo lang ay idinilat muli ni Phillie ang kaniyang mga mata nang maramdaman ang malamig na canned drink sa kaniyang noo. Nang nag angat ng tingin sa nangingiting Kai ay napangiti rin siya.

"Why are you such a good boy? Is it because I'm your senior in work?" Phillie teased him as she accepted the drink.

Umupo na si Kai sa kaniyang tabi. Phillie stared at the canned drink as she smiled a bit. 

"Aaahh I don't wanna go home yet." She groaned.

"It's late and you had a drink, you should go home." Kai immediately said.

Phillie chuckled as she leaned her head at the back of the bench, looking at the growing leaves of the trees and the night sky.

"Thanks for coming with me today, Kai. At least I'm occupied." She murmured.

"Why? What's wrong? Aren't you feeling okay?" He asked.

Phillie turned her head at Kai, his worried rounded eyes that shows it sincerity made her smile even more. "I wish he could also look the same way to me."

Ipinikit ni Phillie ang kaniyang mga mata nang maramdaman nanaman ang antok.

"Phillie..." She listened to his voice quietly.

"Hmm?"

"Do you have a lover?" He asked.

Phillie then looked at him again.  "I don't even know what relationship do we have so..I guess no. I don't have a lover."

"If you don't mind asking, is he the one you're supposed to meet today?" He asked.

Phillie chuckled and playfully pointed at Kai as she sat properly and opened the canned drink. "You're good at observing. How did you know I like iced coffee?"

Kai looked away. "I'm good at observing."

Ininom na ni Phillie ang canned drink at saka nilingon si Kai. "Can I stay at the cafe just for tonight? Don't tell your uncle, please. I won't trash around, just sleep."

"Huh?" Kai turned to her. "Are you craz--alone, there? You know what, you can stay with me and my sister. We have a spare room at our house."

"No, no, no." Phillie chuckled. "I don't want to impose--"
