WAITED FOR A LONG TIME

"We have spotted the cargo." A Tagger said through the earpiece.

Kozma spotted the motorbike at the emergency lay off of the route and immediately went there and stopped for a second, Ches hopped off his motorbike and quickly hopped onto his motorbike as they both proceed with others.

"And we also have company." The Tagger added.

Stan raised his hand and with his thumb, he signaled all of them. At the same time, the group of bikes dispersed all together and left the cars by the route. When all of a sudden, a Tagger fell from his bike after a loud gunshot.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Viktor na iniwasan ang katawan ng Tagger na iyon habang nakasunod ang kaniyang mga mata na nahagip ng tingin ang tama nito sa ulo.

"Sniper!" Viktor yelled that almost sent static to their lines.

They all dispersed according to the plan but this time it has a lot of range since there are bigger risk around. The motorbikes were not visible on the main route as they all stride the plains on the side to avoid the plain sight of the sniper.

"Can you see anything?" Stan asked Lewis through the earpiece.

Lewis were holding his binoculars while looking around. "At your 21:00. He's in a moving vehicle."

"Moving?" Stan asked as he looked around.

And following them behind are two cars with the nozzle of the sniper peaking.

"There's a---Kozma!" Stan yelled when he saw how Kozma pulled his breaks and pursued the car behind them.  "Damn it."

"Cover me!" Kozma said.

At the same time, the sniper from the car shifted his gun at the approaching Tagger on the bicycle, but before he could pull the trigger, someone has been open firing at them that made him out of focus and his inside more.

The car was bulletproof.

"I'll cover him too." Ches said as he maneuvered his motorbike towards Kozma and started open firing at the car.

"The rest of you proceed to Banniskirk!" Viktor ordered as he glanced at them. "Ches, get back! We'll go at once!"

"Damn no!" Ches exclaimed as he pulled his gun. "I ain't watching a comrade die on his own!"

At the same time, the sniper from inside the car realized that he can't shoot again because they are moving closely and is moving around so he now shifted to a short range gun. He pulled machine gun and pointed it at Kozma who is still approaching.

Even before he decided to attack again, Kozma has been looking around and at the same time they both fired at each other, the car went wild and hit the nearest tree for being out of control after Kozma hit the wheels.

The gun that he fired hit the mouth of Kozma's motorbike so he swerved to the side and that made him swung around and finally threw out of balance as he fell from the motorbike.

Gumulong si Kozma sa damuhan ng Route 66 ngunit tumayo rin agad at dinampot ang kaniyang baril. 

From the motorbikes, Ches and Viktor hopped off and grabbed their guns as well.

Kahit na hinihingal ay hindi tumigil si Kozma na naglakad papunta sa sasakyan na nakahampas na sa puno at nausok. Nakatutok din ang baril sa harapan at handa. Sa likod niya at hindi kalayuan ay si Ches at Viktor.
