CHAPTER 16
                              THE GAMBLE

"la aryd!" A voice of a young man was heard across the hall that made all of them peak.
                              I don't wanna!
"Tahiat tyba!" Aeedah said as he forced the young man to bow at them.
They were flustered as they bowed a little bit as well to the young man. After a few minutes, they all sat in front of each other with Phillie serving teas and coffees for everyone.
"This is Hashir." Aeedah introduced him. "He knows things around so he can help us."
"min qal 'iinani 'asaseud?" Hashir hissed fiercely. He is a young looking kid and seems like a local in the town but his eyes has a hint of blue from the first glance. He has a long tear scar on his left cheek.
                              Who said I'm helping?
"Does he speak English?" Eitan asked.
Aeedah once again forcefully pushed his head down. After a few seconds, Hashir sighed.
"Yes, I speak." He said in a low voice.
Binitawan na ni Aeedah ang ulo ni Hashir at saka siya nag angat ng tingin.
"Isn't that child abuse?" Ches whispered on the sighed.
Kozma cleared his throat. "May I ask how old are you, Hashir?"
                              "I'm 17." Hashir arrogantly said.
"17?" They repeated in a low voice in shock.
Hashir sighed and in strong English, he expressed his disapproval with the plan. "I don't want to get involved with any of this Nirvana talk."
"Have you no shame, Hashir? This is for Morocco!" Aeedah scolded him.
"I don't want to!" Hashir seconded. "I fight but this!"
Eitan tilted his head. "You..don't need to involve yourself fully. Just a few information will do."
Hashir looked at Eitan and then at everyone, carefully and intensely glaring at each of them.
"You Russians are just so good on getting into trouble, now you're saying this things to involve even us." Hashir hissed. "We've had enough of t-"
"What trouble are you talking about?" Stan asked while leaning on the wall on their side.
Hashir raised his eyebrow at Stan.
"Who even wants trouble at this age?" Stan asked with a light grin on his lips. "Do you think we're doing this just for fun?"
                              Hashir scoffed. "Sure it is."
"Then, are you fine with Morocco succumbing to darkness?" Stan asked. "While our buddies are dying out there fighting for the world, for your own country, you sit here like a brat complaining about things you don't even know about."
Dahil doon ay umasim ang ekspresyon ni Hashir. Hindi natuwa sa katotohanang narinig mula sa isang dayuhan na nakatayo sa kanilang teritoryo.
"Are you saying you'll save my country despite being a Russian?" He asked.
