SELL YOUR SOUL

There was a commotion by the port after Eitan and the others arrived. Unlike the count before, almost half of them were brought down on their way here. Kahit ang mga damit nila ay may mga bahid ng dugo.

"Ei."

Eitan were eager on going back to the District after hearing what just happened. Unlike what they thought, the news immediately reached him and that didn't ended well.

"Eitan!" Stan yelled.

Eitan snapped. Ches and Kozma were pulling him behind to avoid him from running towards his motorbike.

"She's fine." Stan added. "Lewis is already there and there was no casualty. She's fine. Besides, the Chinese is with her."

Eitan's breathing is still not normal. His eyes were lost and in panic. It took Stan a lot of years before seeing those uneasy eyes again, and in the same situation too.

"She'll be calling you once the line is good." Stan said.  "Calm down."

Eitan sighed as he bowed his head in despair. "I want to see her."

"Lewis will bring her here." Stan said and tapped his shoulders. He also signaled Ches and Kozma to let go of him. Nang mabitawan ay hinila ni Stan ang balikat ni Eitan at ibinagsak sa kaniyang dibdib.

Hinawakan ni Stan ang batok ni Eitan habang nakasandal siya sa kaniya.

"She's fine, okay?" Stan said in a low voice. "She's fine."

Eitan nodded.

After a few minutes of settling down, they all get ready on putting the ship on fire. The ship were navigated far away from the port and they all watched at that large distance with the use of the binoculars.

Apple raised his hand and after counting to three, a loud shot were heard across the port and the ship were immediately on fire.

After the fire has spread, there was a continuous explosion around the ship which almost put the drugs into a mini fireworks display. Eitan watched the explosion with his intense eyes. When he felt his phone vibrating, he quickly grabbed it.

Upon seeing the unregistered number,  he immediately picked it up and placed on his ear.

"Can you see it now?" Eitan asked.

"You know this won't stop the order, Ei." Yaroslav said. "You all are just like brats trying to fight a losing battle. You have one last chance to step down, Eitan. Do it now."

Eitan scoffed as he watched the burning ship.

"Did you do that to the District?" He asked.

"You're quick." His father answered.

"You also think that will stop me?" Eitan murmured. "You're making me fly farther away from you, just so you know. You want to stop me? Kill me first."

Ibinaba agad ni Eitan ang telepono at saka naglakad na ng mabilis papunta sa kaniyang motor kasunod ng iba para bumalik sa District. Halos hindi gumalaw ang oras nang makabalik sila sa District.

"Don't make him drive like a madman." Ches commented when they arrived at the District and parked their motorbikes on the side.

There was still a sign of smoke on the District but the fire was already put up. The Taggers and the residents inside the District were waiting outside the gates for the signal for them to go back inside.
