NIRVANA ON SIGHT

Eitan was about to leave the gate when Viktor stepped in front of him. Napatigil siya dahilan para maumpog sa likod niya si Kozma na nakasundo lang. Ches pulled Kozma away from Eitan as the three of them look at Viktor.

"What now, papi?" Ches asked.

"We have a job at 17. Where are you going?" Viktor asked.

Eitan tilted his head. "What is it to you? We'll visit a cafe first, we have kids to take care of."

"Yeah?" Viktor asked, not convinced.

As if triggered by something, Eitan's eyebrow was raised a bit as he grinned. 

Kozma leaned towards him. "Don't."

But Eitan did it otherwise.

"Re-polymerized N-01." Eitan said.

Ches and Kozma both looked at Eitan with pure shock on their eyes as they tried to stop him but it was too late. Eitan were watching Viktor's reaction from triggered to confused, despite his first assumption, he accepted it.

"Dude, what are you d-" Ches were immediately cut off.

"The hell are you on? You a chemist?" Viktor asked.

Eitan chuckled a bit as he sighed. "Not what I expected but you made me sigh in relief, Vikky. We'll be back before 17 o'clock, don't worry. Let's go."

Tinapik pa ni Eitan ang likod ni Viktor at saka naglakad na paalis habang nakasunod sina Ches at Kozma na nagtataka pa rin na tinatawag si Eitan. With Viktor's confused face, he didn't do anything more as they all fled.

Two hours before that, Eitan received a call from Phillie that made them rush out of the District.

"Why? You in trouble?" Eitan asked as he put the book down.

Phillie chuckled. "Remember the event that we have in a cafe? The one I told you before when I left during my rest day?"

Eitan immediately remembered that but only that one thing. "Yeah, when you were with your co-worker. What about it?"

"Well.." Phillie chuckled. "We have that event today and the kids from the nearby daycare are dropping by. Do you want to visit? We'll be serving new drinks and pastries. Come bring Ches and Kozma!"

Napatingin si Eitan kay Ches at Kozma na nakaupo lang sa sofa habang abala sa sari sariling oras nila.

"I'll ask them." Eitan said.

"Yay! Thank you! You can wear whatever you want! See you!" And then Phillie hung up.

Nang maibaba ang tawag ay alam agad ni Ches ang nangyayari.

"I ain't coming, we have an errand later." Ches said.

"No. We're all coming." Eitan said.

Ches looked at Eitan with a done expression. "You big smitten bastard."

"I am not." Eitan said as he grabbed his coat.

Kozma chuckles and got up as well. "Drag your ass up, Ches."

Ches rolled his eyes as he got up from the couch. "What Phillie says, we Taggers should do."

Sabay sabay na silang sumakay sa motor at isinuot ang kanilang mga helmet. Ngunit hindi pa nakaka-alis ay muling nagsalita si Viktor na nasa likod pa rin nila at nasa gate ng District.
