| PUNCHING BAG

Yoongi and Hoseok tucked Kim Tae neatly under the blanket as they gave me some so not apologetic looks .

"Fine, we're sorry okay? We had no choice Claire. You might hate him but it's better than leaving him drunk in the cold," Yoongi apologized because he saw me getting ready to scold them again.

"Like I would care. He wasn't even there years ago when I needed him most," I rolled my eyes and went to the kitchen.

I was still mad at both of them for their reckless behaviours but they hadn't eaten since this afternoon because we were busy challenging one another during the taekwondo class.

I prepared some Carbonara since it was their favourite and I couldn't cook anything more than that. I just couldn't get myself to like house works, especially cooking and ironing.

I placed three plates on the dining table and they looked hesitant for awhile.

"Why are you guys hesitating to sit? It's not like I would bite you," I said.

"You totally would," Hoseok chuckled. "If you see how you reacted before, you woild totally bite us or even kill us with your two hands," he continued.

"You're just indirectly saying that I'm stronger than you," I mocked.

"Only three? Are you not going to make some for him?" Hoseok asked, referring to a sleeping drunkard on my couch. He had one foot up to the sofa backrest and a hand dangling, almost touching the floor. He looked so wasted.

"He can serve himself once he wakes up. I'll be kicking him out of my place so I won't need to feed him," I said in a 'duh' tone.

"You're too mean, Claire. No wonder guys are afraid of you. Besides us of course," Yoongi laughed loudly but it's starting to turn into a mocking laugh.

I took three pieces of tissue and plunged it into his mouth. "That's what you get for disrespecting me you asshole," I glared.

The three of us finished our dinner and Yoongi had to wash the plates because of disrespecting me earlier. He could only groan while me and Hoseok smirked as we made our way towards the living room.

"Where's your mom though? I forgot I haven't greeted her since we arrived," he looked around the house.

"She always has night works to do, remember? Since my dad passed away, she's been overworking herself. I don't understand though.. I think we have enough money even without her working so hard," I replied.

"It might be because she's taking care of the company your father left. It's not an easy job you know, especially that she's a woman," he said and I nodded.

I just feel empty sometimes. It was also one of the reason of why I often invited Yoongi and Hoseok to hang around my house.

I am feeling lonely.

"What's with that expression again? The expression of loneliness.. You promised us not to show it again. Suck it before I hit your head," Hoseok crossed his arms. He tried lifting up the mood by making some weird crazy noises and I could only hit him playfully in return.

"You guys are so loud," A low groan was heard while I was busy tackling Hoseok down. I stopped every action I was doing and gave the drunkard a sarcastic look. I was surprised he was awoken in only less than two hours.

"This is my house and you have no rights or whatsoever to complain about how loud I am. Oh yeah, since you have woken up, it's time for you to leave," I stated in annoyance.

"How rude," he replied.

Somehow I felt a bit sad because Kim Tae now looked completely different from 3 years ago. He was once sweet and caring, unlike now. It was almost like I was talking with a whole different person. But who cares? Even if he was back for good now, I still couldn't forgive him.

"You never gave me the time to explain," he mumbled but I could hear just fine within meters away.

"I don't need it."

Silence followed afterwards but Hoseok was quick to break it. "Y-You two should talk I think? It seems like there are a lot of misunderstandings that has to be uncovered," he looked awkward while scratching his neck.

What!? I thought he was going to help ease this awkward situation!?

"Yoongi! What took you so long to wash the dishes. We still have some home works to do," Hoseok gave me a look which indicated that I should have a talk with Kim Tae alone. I wasn't able to say anything else because both of them already had my front door shut before my face.

"So.. ," he started.

"So, just leave Kim Tae," I finished without looking at him.

"I just want you to stop calling me Kim Tae. It's Taehyung," he said.

I sighed, "I just don't care anymore, Kim Tae. You should just leave because I really don't like wasting my time."

"It's Taehyung," he repeated.

"Okay fine! Taehyung. Now leave, okay!?" I shouted. He seemed taken aback but maintained a straight face.

I know I was being too rude since I just met him this afternoon, but man I had my own reasons.

I sighed when I saw him not leaving anytime soon so I let him be. I went to my training room and picked up my boxing gloves before I approached the cylindrical punching bag that I had hanging from the ceiling.

I didn't realize how strong I was punching but the grains inside the bag were beginning to fall out. I didn't stop though. Instead, I only kept punching stronger and faster. My mind was in a mess and I didn't even have time to contemplate about today's event. I guessed I poured out all my frustration onto this punching bag.

"You haven't changed, Claire. You're still that girl who pours her frustration out on innocent stuff." I heard a low chuckle just as I finished abusing the poor thing.

"You know nothing," I replied without even looking at him.

I pulled my hands out from the boxing gloves and returned them to their places.

"Look, you completely destroyed it." He shook his head in disbelieve as the last grain fell out and came in contact with the marble floor.

"Actually, I'm just like that punching bag you know," I started.

"What do you mean?"

"Punching bags can withstand a lot, Taehyung. But even the best ones don't last forever. Tears form, straps break, and eventually the grains inside will fall out if you hit it enough."
