Third Person's POV
The heavy smoker carefully lit his cigarette and placed it in between his mouth before blowing out a sickening puff of smoke.
"Haven't you stopped?"
"I've considered the thought, but this thing always warms up my lungs in a pleasurable way." He blew it several more times, threw the cigarette onto the ground and exhaled the remaining smoke of tobacco from his nose as several people coughed from breathing in the horrid scent of the cancer stick.
Having an empty system, he suddenly had the urge to consume more than two servings to fill their stomachs. "Pasta for the hundredth time?"
The asked man bobbed his head while still trying to adjust the imbalance in breathing between fresh air and the smell of cigarettes smoke.
"Alright, alright. I'm sorry. I won't ever smoke in your presence again," the other one chuckled before signalling a waitress to take their orders.
"What's the main topic this time?"
Sipping on his red wine in between his thumb and forefingers, his bloodshot eyes suddenly turned serious. Anyone could tell that he has been lacking of sleep those several days.
"That bastard Caesar Han..," he started, "He seemed to have contacted someone."
"What!? How?"
"I have another device connected to his phone. I'm not dumb, kid. I didn't let him die but he's asking for a beat up himself. Pretending to have amnesia and then contacting one of his acquaintance. My guess is, this matter has reached the ears of the police."
"Of course it has."
There was dead silence after that. Both of them seemed to be into their own thoughts. They weren't even paying attention to the waitress who had come to serve their food and asking if they needed more wine.
In the end, she was left to leave awkwardly and unanswered.
"Did the food walk on its own?" The older man gasped, much to his surprise.
"I don't know, you tell me." The younger one rolled his eyes, obviously annoyed. "You were never aware of your surrounding. That's why even Caesar Han outsmarted you."
Offended, he slammed his burgundy glass onto the table. "Excuse me? The same goes to you!"
"He's surely smart, but we're clever. Or, it can be the other way around."
