Claire's POV

A bunch of people suddenly entered the area in conjunction with the taste of red velvet cupcake melting in my mouth.

I clearly felt annoyed, interrupted. Those foreign faces I had never seemed to encounter were shortly throwing us judging looks just because we were the only ones who were already eating in advance.

Irksome people.

"Isn't it that witch?" asked Taehyung, pointing towards a certain someone with his chin so it would look less obvious.

Scanning through the crowd, I finally spotted someone familiar.

My eyes fluttered open and dropping my head low was to be the only way to dodge any unwanted attention. Taehyung realized the inconvenience and intertwined our hands, attempting to pull me somewhere else.

"Hey!"

But it was too late when a pair of glitter kitten heels had already come into sight, pointing sharp towards where we were standing.

My temper sparked the moment I saw her examining Taehyung from head to toe. Sure, she could call him beautiful or anything, but not checking him out right in front of me.

"What the fuck are you looking at, miss?"

Her gaze shifted to me, lips morphing into a smirk.

"You're that rascal who spoke ill of my face, aren't you?"

"Yes, so? Got any problem?"

Heck, like she didn't know she started it first when I had no intention of picking up fights.

"Any problems with my beautiful girlfriend?" Taehyung followed, purposely flexing our intertwined hands on her face.

Despite struggling to hold back a smile, I couldn't seem to fight the chaos of screams in my heart. He was making me feel things again.

Error 101.
Cause: Kim Taehyung.

She suddenly laughed like a maniac and looked at us. "Haven't you learned how to speak like educated people? You guys have been lacking courteous since we met. Don't I deserve an apology at least?"

"If you didn't insult my look at the first place, I would never do the same. Until then, I'm not sure if you deserve this but, sorry." I purposely showed off an apologetic look.
