It was summer school break and I had all the time during that period to sleep and relax but I found myself skipping towards Kim Tae's house instead. We were 14 that time and didn't have much to think about.

His house was only a 5 minutes walk from mine so I visited him a lot, especially during summer breaks and holidays.

I looked at the two silver tickets I was holding in my hands and an unconscious smile immediately crept up my lips.

'Kim Tae loves visiting art galleries,' I thought.

I told him I'd visit today so he was already waiting for me at his front door. He noticed my arrival and excitedly waved at me when I was just a few distance from his house.

"Good morning my favourite brother!" He beamed as he went to hug me.

"I'm not a brother, shut up!" I playfully smacked his arm and he winced in pain.

"Yeah, absolutely not one," he rolled his eyes. We entered his house and I was quick to plop myself onto his couch.

"Aren't you going to ask me why I'm here?" I asked.

"You're always full of surprises. I'm just waiting for what kind of surprise are you coming with this time," he smiled cheekily before plopping down beside me.

"So, remember when you told me you like exploring, like visiting museums or art galleries?" I asked and he nodded.

"Apparently I was able to get these tickets on the last minute," I grinned, holding my hand up to show the two silver tickets. I thought he was going to scream in excitement but he stayed quiet and seemed to be too deep in thoughts.

"Kim Tae?" I called.

"Oh, yeah. The one that will be held next week, isn't it?" He questioned.

"You're right. You're going with me right? Why do you seem puzzled?" He hesitated to answer but nodded anyways.

"Thank you so much for considering what I like, Claire, you know I love you," he giggled and poked my cheek.

I was blushing so badly, thanks to his last few words. We weren't even dating but I've always had that feelings for him.

"Hate you too," I forced a laugh in embarrassment.

I went home that afternoon smiling like an idiot. He told me he loves me for the 99th time yet I was still unable to get used to it. Thinking about how I would spend my time with Kim Tae was enough to bring a smile on my face. I was just so excited.
