Surprisingly, Taehyung had brought me to a Book Centre where I could see thousands of books being stacked and lined up on the shelves. The view was mesmerizing, the books giving its surroundings lively colours which instantly made me smile.
"You loved to read books when you were a kid." Taehyung suddenly poked me, making me snapped back to reality.
"You remembered?" I raised my eyebrows as I smiled a little.
He slightly nodded. "Quick, grab any book you want before it's lunch time. It's on me today." He patted his chest arrogantly as if signalling that he was the richest guy in the universe.
"Really? Aren't you broke?" I teased him. I was actually glad the situation was getting cooler between us. But was everything's natural, or just forced out? I didn't even know. Too much happened.
"I'm a financially stable man, didn't you know? Now just do what I said before I changed my mind." He pushed me into one of the aisle then left me to wander off to somewhere else.
It had been 5 minutes into the aisle and my steps finally stopped as I spotted a book which brought back my childhood memories.
'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'
Taehyung and I used to read this everyday as kids despite knowing the whole story lines up till the point where we could memorise every word exactly the same without missing a coma or a period. Next thing we would do was to impersonate either the boy or the villagers.
I left the children's book section and searched for the fanfiction one. It had always been hard for me to find a book that was up to my standards because most books ended with sad endings.
I hate what was called 'sad endings' the most so I always make sure to only buy books with happy ones.
I suddenly heard a shifting behind me and when I turned around to check for any commotions, I saw a middle-aged man with black cap and very dark sunglasses looking towards my direction.
On his right hand he was holding a book with dark cover and I was able to catch a glimpse of it. 'Naked,' It read.
Sighs. I was once again met with a pervert.
The man had no idea at all that I was aware the whole time so he took his chance to get closer to me and in a split second, he grabbed my shoulder harshly, making me face him as he took off his sunglasses.
