Monstrous as a beast, I was definitely letting my angel side getting immersed in the depths. There was no way I was going to resist throwing hits to her face.

Yuqi was also trying to pounce on me with her bleeding nose. Her irritating shrieks and squeals had successfully invited plentiful of attentions.

At this point I did care no more. Who was she, trying to pick on me when the things she accused me of barely held any truth? Bringing in the mention of my father surely wouldn't let me get my hands off her in any minute.

"Your filthy mouth needs a lesson," I spat on her face.

Years of learning taekwondo finally paid off when I lastly gave her a minimal front kick which was enough to send her crashing against the iron gate.

Weak bitch.

"Ouch!" She yelled, very loudly. The gate shook from the impact and she fell down with a thud.

"Claire! What the fuck is going on?" Taehyung turned me violently to face him. "I came back from the toilet to see that you were already gone, but what's this?"

I was almost too excited to show him what I had done but the look on his face showed that he wasn't satisfied at all— like he had just witnessed criminality. He appeared just like the faces our other classmates were making right now.

"What have you done?" he questioned once more, stern gaze fixated on me.

"What? Can't you see? I was giving her a lesson she deserves." I glowered, pointing towards the half-conscious Yuqi now.

Taehyung's grip had loosened from my wrist, his eyes squeezed shut for a moment.

"I can tolerate everything about you but not this kind of violence, Claire. You know better than anyone how much power you hold. This is too far. Her being the daughter of someone you hate doesn't make you a monster."

My mouth was dry and the muscles in my body instantly got tensed. If I hadn't interpreted falsely, was he being disappointed in me for beating off a girl who just yanked my hair and insulted my late father as she wished?

My eyes twitched and I looked at him with an expression I was pretty sure I had never put on.

If he was disappointed in me, I could say I felt the same.
