Taehyung's POV
"Taehyung, the hairs on my neck are standing up! Where the hell is this?" Hoseok asked with a high-pitched voice.
"Stop clinging." I pushed him away.
The alley had never given out any bad vibes during the day, but now that it was midnight, everything appeared monochrome. It was like a scene from a black and white movie, just that the former colour was more dominant.
Our heavy breathings echoed through the walls and our silhouettes were now barely discernible due to how dark it was.
"I swear if this is a prank, we better go home. My birthday is still too far for this!" Hoseok mentally cried.
"Listen, I want you to punch whoever's face we meet first when we enter the place, okay?" I asked, ignoring his wailing.
Bringing Hoseok with me was like dragging an infantile outgrown baby to kindergarten, to be honest. I should've chosen to bring Jimin instead.
Unfortunately, we forgot to exchange numbers despite chit-chatting for so long this morning.
"I'm pretty sure this is it."
We stopped in front of an abandoned warehouse where there was barely any light. As if too lonely down the alley, the spot seemed to discover the company of trees and wildflowers around.
Towering stacks of unorganised goods were leaning against the walls, almost completely blocking the view of the windows.
All in all, it looked like a movie-set, a place waiting for an abductor to bring his victim in. The only smell being the dust and intoxicating gasoline.
"Nobody's been here since the years of the vampires, I'll bet," Hoseok said softly, clutching onto the shirt behind me.
"Stop exaggerating things, will you?" I was panting out of worry.
All of a sudden, we heard a loud shrilling sound of objects falling, followed by a manly groan. That was when I hurried towards the door.
Shit, it's locked.
"Please be okay. Please be okay," I mumbled anxiously as my knuckles turned white from balling up my fists for too long.
I won't hesitate to kill myself if she gets hurt anywhere.
